Gawr Gura, during her long breaks, wasn't actually on break but was suspended because she didn't stream enough.
Suspend someone from streaming because they didn't even stream the minimum required is something holo managers would do desu.
This also explaing why she doesn't give any updates and doesn't talk about it and her excuses seem fake af.
It all makes so much fucking sense now.

Gura is just unmotivated, she made too much money and it got to her head and now she's full like a baloon, she thinks nothing she ever does can damage her career but it wouldn't surprise me if they refused to renew her contract and just replaced her voice.

Hololive uses "health" breaks to hide suspensions which is common in the Japanese idol industry. Over the course of a single year Sana, Ina, Gura, Laplus, and Haachama went on 2 to 3 month long radio silent "health" breaks. Sana had a series of radio silent "health" breaks before her graduation, several of her VODs were deleted, and her roomate made it clear on twitter that she was healthy.
