Their pitch and tone are similar, but Shiki's pronunciations are too crisp to be Miki. Miki's singing was never her strong point, and she often mushed words into each other. Shiki's words are clearly defined and distinct.
I wouldn't mind being wrong, though. I miss that rrat. She was truly ogey...

They're small enough that a discord might be a good idea. They just have to be careful not to run into some of the problems other vtubers have had with their discord.

There's already a very active discord server which I think mostly serves that, the main value in a subreddit would be that it's much more visible since it doesn't require joining a server, but as the other anon said the fanbase probably isn't big enough yet, it'd just be another place to re-post announcements.

Subreddits don't really get promoted by any sort of algorithm. Nobody discovers new subreddits the way they discover vtuber clips on Youtube. Having a well-managed subreddit with every post having single digit replies or 0 replies won't really get you anywhere.

If you wanna actually promote them go create clips and post them on /r/VirtualYoutubers or convince the talents to do some sort of fan interaction events to encourage people to show up to their streams.

Yes exactly, it's premature to start a subreddit if you start shilling them on the vtuber sub or other subs before establishing an existing fanbase on Reddit through posting on those subs beforehand. As someone who actually discovered PRISM through Iku's post on that subreddit, I disagree with that statement. I doubt the Gen 1 debuts would reach 350+ live viewers if not for the hype posts in the r/VirtualYoutubers
Also, Reddit doesn't watch just clips. Just post something that is unique and original, something that would set you apart from other VTubers on this subreddit. Iku had the chance to do when she released her original song, but for some unknown reason she decided not to post about it

The 2nd and 4th actually have unique/interesting designs. The 2nd girl has a street fashion x traditional Japanese outfit which is super interesting to look at (love the colors and transparent sleeves), and the 4th girl seems based off a dullahan (I don't think I've seen a dullahan VTuber before) The other two designs are garbage.
