Whether we were in the Golden Age or not, this is easily the beginning of the end. Whatever your thoughts on Coco, bottom line is that persistent anti attack has thoroughly succeeded in bringing down one of the biggest, most established vtubers and nobody could do a thing about it. I don't see how it gets better from here. Even if Cover does try to go back to the Chinese market, any CN chuubas or even JP chuubas who make any real effort to reach out to CN will be harassed in the same way by vengeful JP/EN autists. If Hololive goes on in the same path, there's still plenty of room to grow and become an even bigger phenomenon. Sure, a few "casualties" in the way are always going to be expected.

But, If there is this huge turn around and this really happened because of the chinese, as some of the rumors point out, I could see that becoming a point of no return for Hololive.
