vst is like a file format for audio plugins for audio software, you can get all kind of effects using them, EQ, reverb, distortions, etc, the world is your oyster
by downloading external vst plugins you can also get a better compressor and noise gate than OBS's default, with a better interface

I used the Contemporary dance style for this song but my Contemporary is fake so I never actually learned it besides mimicking some principles such as gracefulness and leg kicks. Sorry can't really list out the moves here.

For this song I attempted animation which is a dance style focused on dime stops (think the robot dance) A bit of waacking mixed in there which is attributed by the feminine arm swings in circular motion. For footwork you can say that I used the crosswalk step once but a majority was just improvised leg movement mainly 2 steps.

Well dance styles focuses on core principles and foundation which then branch out to other moves. Not hating on popping but I will use it as an example. There is a difference between popping your muscles with your arm at waist height vs popping at shoulder height and the entire dance style revolves on doing just that but in a different position. Debuting anything for indies is usually best when you've already been streaming for a while. So you have experience streaming, know your groove, made other streaming friends and made proper network. With all that you make sure that people actually come to your debut, with friends raiding you and the high number will put you in the front page of twitch for a while. You don't simply debut, you gotta do a lot of prep work beforehand.

to add to my post, this is also a reason why most people advice newcomers to start as a pngtubers let me tell you some advantages of it.
1) it's cheap
2) it doesn't take long compared to making a custom 3d model or live2d model.
3) You can stream sooner and see if you really like streaming before making a heavy investment.
4) As you're not investing on a model yet, you can use the money to get custom assets (emotes, waiting screens, backgrounds, etc)

After you're sure streaming is your thing, you built a decent viewership and made friends with other vtubers, you can finally start thinking about debuting your model.

AT2020 and SM58 with Focusrite Scarlett solo. I don't know if I would endorse either microphone, they're not bad but just like my (imaginary) old wife I know their flaws.
If you're getting started and don't want to learn too much about audio I would recommend a good quality dynamic microphone. The AT2020 is a condenser mic and I can hear the room's acoustics too much and I had to fix it, the SM58 doesn't really give a fuck in comparison

I'm going to say 3/5, I believe that is fair. It was a bit scuffed, but i'd like to see another shot because I think there is potential. If there was a bit more practice and preparation beforehand I feel it would have easily been a 4/5. I want to talk about what each member brings to the table, and how they can improve.

Zenya can talk about and notice pretty much anything. As others have noted dead air is rare before the 3 hour mark. She is good at letting others get involved, this is shown when she made ways for a rando to join in their lobby encouraging participation from the audience. It feels like she was a bit nervous in the beginning and as a result initially seemed to come off as more focused on the game than on her collab partner. Perhaps spending some time before stream trying to have fun with her collab partner to get off the nerves and just focusing on having a good time can let her shine more.

Denpa brings in an energy that invigorates the conversation. She communicates her experience to the audience nicely so its easy to relate or understand her. There were some moments though where it seemed as if she's trying her best to be excited about a situation that really is not exciting. I could be wrong and she could just be a positive person that looks to see the best in whatever situation she's in. However, as viewer the Rat Washing Tycoon game was not really fun to watch, the random stream snipers provided some entertainment by existing but the game itself being basically an idle farmer was hard to be invested in as a viewer, even if her squeals about cute rats tried to say otherwise. I believe this could be resolved if the material/games they were playing were vetted a little more beforehand, as in what would be fun to play AND watch.

Even though I think they tried to vet the games beforehand, the first choice felt especially weak, and the third was mediocre. The first was not really interesting to watch. The second one was okay though neither felt invested. The third provided some questions for the audience to give opinions on which provided some entertainment to balance out scarce gameplay. The Outlast game however was fun in providing some drama to get invested in after they began to talk to the other players in the in game chat. I will reiterate that some more vetting towards consideration of what may be fun to see would be nice.

Overall, I enjoyed how they started bouncing off each other as the other anon mentioned. This became more noticeable and enjoyable as the stream progressed. I hope for a future collab at around the same length, for whatever the game they may choose so they don't burn themselves out.

I think a lot of people gravitate towards bi-sexual these days because the oversexualization of our lives meant that we were a lot more tolerant of what gets us off and we aren't as influenced by religious values that label homosexual stuff as "bad".
