OP is the CEO of a small EN corpo called EIEN. She used to be a vtuber herself. EIEN took off more than they all thought, relatively speaking, so a lot of people think there's been a lot of changes the CEO and management have made to have more widespread appeal, for they were very lewd and unique in the EN sphere. A lot of their existing fans came from HoloEN, ironically. They were a very lewd EN corpo but most of the time, the girls are seiso and sweet. One of the girls isn't lewd at all. Their most popular, lewd and openly parasocial vtuber, Riifu, has been heavily restricted out of nowhere lately. She streamed every day and for long hours. Now she's only allowed to do 3 streams a week, max. It looked like she got suspended for a while and when she 'returned', she was crying and depressed as hell. Even her more recent streams she's not herself and keeps saying depressing things like she's going to leave. She was a high-energy streamer and very exciteable like a Scottish Koyori.

The biggest issue we all have is we've been entirely kept in the dark. If you speculate in the company's discord, you're banned. No discussion is allowed. We've been given no clear explanation and it looks like Riifu desperately wants to tell us, but isn't allowed. Imagine if Yagoo did this to Koyori during her second month. Riifu could be in the wrong, we just want to know what the fuck is going on and why it looks like she was suspended 10 minutes before starting a stream.

Reading stuff like this personally upsets me. I've been a VTuber for almost 4 years now and ever since I've started I've streamed every single day for a minimum of 10 hours a day, usually playing 2 different games on the same day. The only exception was for Elden Ring where I got so addicted I played it for two weeks straight on stream. It sucks that there are people out there who don't want people who are actually passionate for streaming and gaming to enjoy themselves, I couldn't imagine forcing myself to stream for 1 or 2 hours every day...
I know me being an endurance streamer is a debuff but I'd rather be happy and continue enjoying my passions.

The reality is that it's all down to luck. I'm a great singer, great at video games, I do GFE ASMR regularly, my artist has worked with Hololive and NIJISANJI, my rigger is part of Iron Vortex, I have the best streaming equipment money can buy, I pay someone to make shorts and videos of funny moments to try and game the algorithm but it's just not enough. I've put thousands into my streaming endeavors and after all these years I've made a total of $3,000 in donations. I don't want to sound as if I'm not grateful for those donations but I'm at this point where I realized that I will never be able to catch the algorithms attention so I will just continue to spend all this money into what I consider my truest passion in life and I will not achieve the recognition I feel I deserve.
There are a lot of people out there that don't know how it truly is to be a VTuber and I wish people would understand the woes we face.

I don't like this sentiment, but I understand it. It's a feeling we all struggle with. I often think to myself I deserve recognition, that I'm better than others. But I know, I should do things for myself, and I admire folks who think like that. I play a wide variety of games, I do speedruns and have a few world records, I 100% at least one game a month, and I do many challenge runs in the Souls series such as no hit runs, no armor runs and I would love to do a DDR pad run but since I'm a VTuber there's no way to verify if I'm using a DDR pad or not.
