Kankuro is an older Mysta. He is hyper and giving commentary constantly. He feels more like a gamer vtuber than an idol, so he fits more in Niji than Holo.

Male Vshojo is gonna happen down the line, so a male muscle bara guy would fit right in.

The only way Phase connect will ever add a guy to their company is if its a girl and gay. Not sure if Beryl is gay, but if he is, he is a perfect fit in. He has that sense of humor that would fit right in. Also, he can't do or keep a schedule, so that disqualifies him from the big corpos.

Is it better to focus on streaming a niche game that doesn't get a lot of viewers/streamers or a popular game that gets a lot of viewers? Right now there's only 25 viewers watching streams of this game. 6 of the streamers only have 1 viewer. Would it be hard to build a following streaming a game that no one seems to be interested in watching?

These past weeks I've been working on a branding refresh - new stream assets, cleaning up my channels, hired an artist to improve my avatar (still png for now), and more.

I had to do a tone test because I'm tone deaf but apparently I'm a contralto which I guess is the lowest female singing voice. My main reason for not wanting to be a mommy-type vtuber is it doesn't really fit my personality and an aesthetic that I enjoy. My favorite tropes of characters are hags that are kind of gap moe in that they don't really look like hags (something I fit in with irl because I always get mistaken for a highschooler or younger). I have a limited voice range but I don't plan on streaming anytime soon due to having a toaster PC and I'm saving up for a new one so I have time to practice I guess?

Easier said than done, but you need to quit wringing your hands over the numbers. You need to spend all of that time spent worrying about metrics on marketing and planning your streams or videos instead.
If you're being honest with yourself with regards to not being cut out for streaming then you need to quit. I can't imagine forcing yourself to do something you're not cut out for is very fun. If you're just self-deprecating because you feel inadequate compared to your peers then you shouldn't let that get in the way of what you want. Try to remember why you started doing this to begin with and be honest with yourself about where you can improve.

I'm pretty sure I've seen you in this thread before posting similar stuff. You need to quit dragging your feet and get to work, whatever that entails for you.

Bought a boom mic stand and tested it out with my cheap $20 mic. I was planning on getting a Shure 58, but after playing around with the stand, I think I would rather use a headset. The mic is always in my peripheral vision and it's bothering the hell out of me. It was very cheap and the rest of the model looks far better, it's only the hands and some bad shading here and there.
