If she abandons her fans, genmates, Hololive etc people naturally feel slighted whether they can realize/articulate it or not. She functionally has for about half a year now. I think she fully expected this would happen, she's very tactful and can read into the fandom very well - she just doesn't give a shit to keep going because she probably has reached having enough money to retire on and not have to actually-try anymore .

I think she realizes how privileged and lucky she is so she doesn't give a fuck anymore. Gura already made at least 1M USD (post cuts), and she' still earning crazy passive money by doing the bare minimum. She's obviously set for life and doesn't care that much about money or otherwise she'd be streaming more often to maintain her current fan base. Considering how fast she reached 1M subs, and what CCV she had during her first 6-12 months, I think she's talented, but I also don't think that level of fame is deserved. It just feels like everything has aligned perfectly for her: having been blessed with a soft/nice voice, extremely marketable avatar, avatar matching the voice, peak coof, Holo buff, 1st EN vtuber group, loli monopoly in Hololive and so on. If she were to debut as some no name vtuber with no PL info attached right now, I'm not even sure if she'd ever reach 10k CCV average. However, that's my opinion against bazillion shrimpies so it means nothing. Honestly, the most frustrating thing is not her reaching those heights that she reached, but seeing her waste her golden ticket and just let it go down the drain.
