>Pecora means wool cattle
So her name means used wool cattle in Spanish

>> No.46714326

Actually the closest to her name would be pécora which is a way of saying "sheep" as in the animal.
There's this expression too:
Una mala pécora is a woman who is awful or evil.
In older times mala pécora was a synonym for prostitute

Is this actual spanish or a spanish speaking country's particular slang?

>> No.46720753

>>46719759
As far as I know, almost everywhere, but it's an old way to call sheeps, like 40 or 50 years old, nobody uses it like that today. The colloquialism (evil woman/prostitute) I heard it myself in 2 diferent countries, but I can't tell if it's like that everywhere.
For extra humiliation, in Perú also means smelly feet.

Pécora is on the official dictionary as a normal word. It doesn't say anything about a slang or any particular country.
