Putting out new gens gets people reinvigorated for bother old talent they used to watch and the posibility of new talent worth watching. People will tune in for a while to get a feel for the new Gen and any collab with them with themselves or the old gens will get big numbers leading to some bleedoff into rewatching/starting to watch an older member. You don't need a new gen every 6 months, but 1 a year or so keeps people coming back.

Sorta depends on whether the new gens even able to pull over new people or the gens will draw more from existing people, making them kinda flow around instead.

If the new gens pulls more to the overall pool, great. Not everyone will stick to just one talent, especially in Holo, boosting everyone overall.

Basically, think of the missing niches in Hololive EN, and get 5 niches of those, and you might be able to fully-make a new gen. Does not have to be fully new niche, but need to be able to be differentiated from their senpais.
