It's really the hypocrisy that gets me. If you really want to drag your personal life into your stream, you take all of it or none of it. Having this blackout curtain around what is supposed to be the most important part of your life - your boyfriend/girlfriend or your spouse - just makes you seem disingenous and utterly fake. It leaves out such important context that it's pretty much impossible for you to not be effectively lying to your viewers several times a stream.
Quite a few twitch streamers are married, and while their spouse and/or kids aren't the centerpiece of the stream, they don't shy away from telling their viewers about them and their daily life, having them walk past the camera, or saying 'oh X took the kids out to the park, she'll be back soon.' The viewers are still connected to them as a whole. Sure you aren't necessarily going to get the paypigs, but you don't have to hide anything beyond the most basic opsec stuff.
Meanwhile you can tell that even the vtubers who try to proudly declare they're in a relationship want to have their cake and eat it too - they want the audience to believe that they're getting the whole experience regardless and it changes nothing, while they jealously guard their personal life, even though everyone can see they're being sold shareware.
I'm sorry you won't have your privacy anymore, but you pretty much signed that away when you started using yourself as content.
