I think kaigais can tell when they suddenly understand more of a japanese conversation than usual especially when they have enough vocabulary to communicate in small portions like rpr. He was also trying to explain stuff that exists in english but not in japanese to Astel which was nice. Watching a conversation with language barrier that wasn't just solved through passion english was really enjoyable to see. I also thought it was cute how Astel would always call rpr's name whenever he wanted to ask him something to have his full attention.
