You should, it’s a roguelike and the appeal of these type of games is that it’s very addicting, for example, the moment you feel like your character is slowly getting stronger and then it reaches critical mass gets you hooked. What seperates StS from other roguelikes is the others are just unga bunga button mash spam attack dodge pray for good “relics”, StS however has cards/deckbuilding, choosing what cards to pick, which node to take, what relic should I get, etc, basically the game is all about planning (what cards do I need right now, for the elites and bosses, does this card synergizes with my current deck) and adapting with what has given to you. The game is challenging and beating it makes it even feel more rewarding.

The combat isn’t that hard as it can be summarized as you use enough defensive cards to lessen the damage or to fully block it and then attack cards whenever you can or if you see lethal (requires you to math, just simple addition, not a big deal)

The only thing that you might not like about this game is you’ll probably die a lot due to various, random shit like bad card draw, bad cards on the rewards, etc., but that’s just how roguelikes work, you’re not expected to go on a huge winning streak unless you’re one of the top players/you know exactly what you’re doing.

I was watching an StS streamer and he did double blasphemy (without any divinity cards) scry meme deck, of course you still stance dance but he cleared A20H on it and made it look easy when the Watcher meta is build infinite. Archetypes exists of course but forcing it won't make you win consistently. Hell, even Millie reached A20 while being drunk and having a non-infinite deck. Couple that with RNG card rewards and there's variety/diversity in StS playstyle.
