The nun-nun is actually smaller than I thought it'd be. I didn't really pay attention to the dimensions when I clicked "buy" so in my mind it was at least 4x the size; as big as the equivalent released by the other girls.
It's better this way as they won't take up so much space.

As far as we know, all of them pay their covers from their own money.
Permissions, instrumentals, mixing, illustration and MV editing.
Original songs should be the same but you include the music composition in the budget.
VTubers signed with original labels may get money in advance and access to industry contacts. But the money in advance has to be paid back so all and all, it comes from the pockets of the VTuber.

I can't argue much but I guess it depends on the label and the contract. If it's an artist with high profile or a budding talent.

If the artist wants to work with a specific composer or team that has an elevated cost, for example, I don't think the label just puts their own money on it.
If the artist wants to make an album, the label will negotiate advances on royalties so the artist has money to produce the album. But the advances are paid back from the sales of the resulting work.
That's the limit of my understanding on this

the contract are done before the production start, artist may request something but the final decision is on the label, and being in record label doesn't mean you can only release an album etc with said label at most you can't release an album under different label but you can do it as indie, the common knowledge is the artist got so little from albums etc because the label took most of the cut because they cover the production cost, marketing etc, artist usually make the most money from concerts and stuffs

Also, Minecraft allows for impromptu collabs in person, chats, or even simple signs and gifts. So people also expect some of it.
No other game allows to the possibility mix all of hololive this way.
Usually games are closed environments. You need to schedule a collab to get something like it.
