Also one thing I realized in hindsight is that most of the art pieces should've been less detailed, considering how large and zoomed-out the play fields can get. That is, unless there's an option to code in a zoom +/- slider, or at least make the levels with fewer tiles appear larger, so that the detail on 1x1 or 2x1 pieces can be seen more clearly.

I'd say my frustration threshold is lower than average thanks to engaging in instantly gratifying behaviors a lot lately, but I also like to put myself down, so it's hard to say for sure.
I think the levels in the original were about as hard; the difference is, your boy had much more incentive to get into it (it being on stream, chat cheering her on etc.) than a random playtester.
Anyway, speaking of ADD tendencies, I think it'd help the game feel more responsive if menu options/buttons would be selected upon clicking, as opposed to clicking-and-releasing as they are now. And if you could drag and drop the pieces on the field. But these are probably low-priority changes.
Anyway, levels 1-23 are definitely beatable and work fine, so great job so far!

Thanks for playtesting. As the designer I haven't exhaustively tested the levels for unintended alternative solutions, but if you want a hint for the intended solution, one part of the concept was that the u piece isn't supposed to be used in the gap that looks custom built to take a u piece.
