I think for this one you should mention Kyo had earlier been liking and responding to tweets that had been attacking and harassing Zaion during her suspension using his own account.
Zaion only started it after she was already leaving so it didn't actually contribute to the termination at all despite what was stated. Kyo did it and wasn't even punished.

She was being treated unfairly. Even her "rule breaking" was nothing others hadn't done before and yet she was treated much harsher. NijiEN did nothing to defend her or address this. Sealing the deal was one of her own coworkers being caught joining in the attacks against her and not even receiving any punishment for it.

The problem is never that a company fired their talent, the problem is that they hired them to begin with. Zaion, Rushia, whoever can do whatever they want on their own. They don't need to join a big corporation. But if they do, then they are owned by that corporation. You can't separate Nijisanji from Anycolor or Hololive from Cover - THE COMPANY is the very thing they're joining.

Knowing that, why would you be against them firing someone they don't get along with? Why would you want to work somewhere you're hated? They hired you; they can fire you. The problem is never the firing. It's that they hired her to begin with.

It doesn't matter what the 'purpose' of the organization is - it could be a fire department, it could be a software developer, a washing machine manufacturer, or state bureaucracy - you can use this One Weird Trick to advance up the ladder while everyone else gets shit, because organizations are made out of people, and most people are status conscious, and will respond positively to support, even unconsciously. They will look at everything you do in a more charitable light. They will think of you as more reliable, more trustworthy, more competent.

And this same dynamic applies in the opposite way as well.

If a superior feels like someone is insufficiently respectful of them, if they feel slighted, snubbed, or subverted, then they will find themselves in a world of shit from all sides. No matter who you are or how 'good' at your 'job' you are, something only the naive sleepers care about, excuses will be made to punish you. The impulse comes first, and reasons are found to rationalize it. Every time you hear a boss say things like 'I am open to honest criticism and pushback', they are lying.
