A combination of several factors

1) She doesn't like being the #1 most subscribed Vtuber. It gives her major imposter syndrome. She feels like everyone around her is accomplishing so much releasing Covers and Original songs while the most she can do is karaokes but despite this she's the highest subbed Vtuber.

2) And the reason she isn't putting out Covers and Original songs at a similar rate as people like Calli, Kiara and the JP girls is cause Cover treats her like dogshit. They, more often than not, say no to her ideas and when they say yes they always meddle with it and dilute it down like how the MCU does with directors with creative ideas. The reason everyone else can put out original songs so much is cause a) they have no say in the songs's creation, they just do the vocals and that's it and b) they aren't the face of hololive. That's why Haachama gets away with everything. And this treatment from management leads to blow after blow to her motivation.

3) She's a massive introvert who's lost in Japan and is the busiest she's ever been, doing dance lessons everyday and a shit ton of other stuff we have no idea about. If it wasn't for Kiara and Ina walking her through everything she wouldn't have been in those collabs.

So you’re saying Gura was at the wrong time at the wrong place, got fans who aren’t particularly interested in the kind of content she wants to make (music), and has no idea how to deal with management. Furthermore, she wants to filter her fanbase (because they don’t particularly give a shit about anything other than streams) except they’re the only thing giving her protection from further management meddling.
Like, I *do* feel bad for Gura, but this still sounds like a list of reasons chumbuds should give up on her. Unless she has a personality change that turns her into Kiara, there’s no way she’ll ever fix any of these issues if these are what’s got her down.

The reason she hasn't graduated yet is cause she genuinely loves the friends she's made in Hololive. Like, the most retarded thing that schizos believe is that no one in Hololive actually likes each other.

Funnily enough, the problem she has now with Cover is opposite to the problem she had when she was her old persona. She had all the freedom in the world but with no friends, now she has the best friends she's ever had with EN and she even gets to go on dinner dates with her oshis.....but now she has her creative freedom stripped away from her.

I'm still a Chumbud because I've followed her since her old persona and I don't have any plans on giving up now.

Marine is the top of the JP branch and she has a huge amount of creative control in all her projects.

There's nothing really deep happening Gura was always like this any minor inconvenience makes her not stream for the day, this is the girl that doesn't like to do watchalongs because she hates the fact that she needs to synchronize the timer with the chat, you can be 100% sure that in her mind right now she is going "Holy so much hololive work I'm really doing great with my return :)"
