Fair enough. However, I am describing my past experience that I myself am concerned about. Which is why I keep lurking and asking around for help from everyone who knew vtubers so that I can calm down and stop being a creep that I was. I still feel in love, but it's tempered now. I go out and walk because I want to. I try to better myself every single day. I push out the thoughts that bring me down by focusing on Gura. I want to make her happier, if even a little, because she makes me happy all the time.

let me explain this as simply as i can.

for project diva FT, she had the game running on her television and she captured it for the stream. this proves that she had two copies of the HDMI signal, one without delay, and one going to capture. the only thing a splitter does is create a second copy of the HDMI signal—or, in her case, a third copy that has no practical use.

the problem she described for that stream was that she had to use two pairs of headphones so that she could monitor her voice signal and hear the un-delayed game audio at the same time. her problem is NOT splitting the HDMI signal. her problem is routing un-delayed game audio to her goXLR monitor bus. she clearly avoids that setup unless a game is literally unplayable with delayed audio, which for a rhythm game it is.

the device that will allow her to do that is an HDMI audio extractor, which will grab the audio signal right off the line, and send it over toslink to her goXLR, leaving everything else just as it was for project diva FT.
