Editing wise they probably want to know if you have the skills to put together a decent music video like covers and stuff. Since you know how to sing, having some video editing skills will probably make it more appealing to hire you. Maybe some music mixing will be good.

As a streamer you probably need to touch editing in some form or another anyway. Imagine if you doxxed yourself on your stream but can't even edit that part out of your archive before releasing it lol.

But I think Cover is not dumb enough to dismiss a potential candidate just because you don't have certain skills listed in the application. If you are a god at singing I don't see why they would just reject you because you can't edit for fuck. They can always just hire an editor if needed.

I think holostars EN is a bad idea, especially right now. Here are some reasons why:
>Holostars depends on the connections formed within the group, it's one of their main pulls. Everybody in the group feels like they're close friends compared to Hololive, who all feel distant except with their cliche. If some EN dudes joined, the communication would probably feel really awkward.
>EN dudes wouldn't have anybody to collab with. Collabs with two people who don't speak the same language get boring in the first 10 minutes, there are too many tards in the holomyth chat which would hurt the EN dudes, and cover is fucking stupid when it comes to collabs with english independents.
>Holostars JP need more JP fans, not more english ones. EN dudes would just encourage more english fans when the JP chat is already dominated by english watchers.

If it's because you wanna collab with holostars, support holostars being able to collab with independents more. ID branch is quite cheap to operate compared to the other ones, so it is not totally unreasonable to launch one around the end of Fall, while preparing it correctly. It is no coincidence that the competition has so many gens in comparison.
For Holostars, it is in my opinion too early, their current numbers is almost perfect, in the way that they don't overlap too much in their niches and timeslots and can slightly easily organize branchwide events in terms of management. They still can do and experiment many things with the current composition before launching a new gen, maybe early in the next year since no other Stars gen was launched around that time of the year

It's... a mixed bag. to take a few examples: Kuku is growing but at a pretty slow rate, Ichika has almost flat levels of growth but a very dedicated viewbase, Natsumi has struggled hard to have any growth at all over the last year and then the newest members... they aren't that far away from Natsumi but have still just about flat lined in growth.
The Japanese vtuber market was already heavily saturated, the Hololive boom hasn't had much of a trickle down effect to other agencies like the 774 groups, Re:Act and such.

Roberu for example has definitely grown compared to when he was barely breaking 200 viewers in a typical stream last April, he can hit over 1k in a solo stream but the number of average viewers hasn't seen any substantial gains since... September? October? The erratic stream schedule this year hasn't helped that either.

I'm not sure I'd say they're at "full capacity" but it's tricky. Considering the members thoughts on a gen 4 ("It's not time yet" / "we're still dealing with moving on after losing 1/3 the members in under a year" / etc) and the groups viewer size, any new additions need to be people who can quickly integrate into the group without compromise (people that most of the members know or are familiar with) and people who are able to build or attract a fanbase without cannibalizing the other members own fans. Basically they another Kaoru situation but that's not something that would be easy to replicate.

As a big Oga fan it's sad to see that his view count remaining relatively flat when compared to his genmate. With similar sub count you would expect him to have similar view count but his view count is significantly lower than Shien's. It doesn't help that Oga doesn't really go out his way to interact with his overseas fans (pain)

But still, I think most of them have grown quite significantly in terms of views when compared to last year. But these past 5 months or so have been slow for them. It i[s like they have reached a plateau after the significant growth last year.

Well, yeah. If he keeps on streaming at mainly those times, eventually those are the only viewers he is going to get. I know he does solo game streams at other timings too but those tend to happen sporadically which isn't great to catch new viewers. Furthermore, the games he plays tend to be long and spanning over multiple streams, making it hard for someone new to just jump into it halfway.

Also personally, the games he plays aren't really my cup of tea. I actually enjoy his zatsudan streams the most, if only he can stream it earlier and at other timings too so I don't have to ruin my sleep schedule for it.

If you already know those three's roommates, it shouldn't be too difficult to find out Shien's, Suzaku's, and Kira's roommates. Male idols don't really get play in the west, the best you can do is boybands, but that'd be more of a VSinger thing.
