Can’t you change the time to watch when holpoi updates? Thus, eliminating people panic buying. If you change it to 9 am there is no point in buying at adjustment as everyone should just wait for when the numbers update then buy which would be the most optimal. Hi- small question for the thread regarding the danmaku supa behavior. We're thinking that the supers will scroll across the screen when they're bought, but we also think that they should loop with some frequency until they expire, so you will still be exposed to them even if you weren't there at the moment it was bought. What kind of behavior would you expect from this system, as in frequency of the looping, how many times they loop, how long they take to travel across the screen, etc.?

You could replace the regular superchat expiry with a danmaku expiry. So when someone makes a 12 hour super, the message itself will forever be in the history of the donation list and the message will loop for a much smaller duration, while still in accordance with the amount given. Maybe 30 minutes for $10k, 10 minutes for $5k, 1 minute for $1k etc. As for travel time, I would say that the higher the amount, the slower it should be. Maybe 30 seconds travel time for the most expensive bracket. Also, I think text size should correspond to the amount given as well. That might be a bit of a pain to implement smoothly, however.

Make it 10:30~11a EST. Even within EST itself nobody is going to be awake/available at 9am unless they're an early-shifter with a job that lets them NASFAQ. And since you're encroaching on the actual stock market times at that point, fake money should come after real money. Ideally adjustment is sometime where you can reasonably take a lunch break or something and fuck around.
