Anons, I need help. I haven't been prompting since early october, and I've been wanting to get back in the thick of things. I need help figuring out what everyone's been using these days. I've gitpulled the latest version and updated my torch and pip but I don't know where to start with stuff like lora, the new models/mixes, and stuff like controlnet. I have no idea where to start if I want to get back into things. I hate to be the guy asking for a spoon feed, but a lot of the new things seem pretty overwhelming to my brain.

Welcome back anon. First of all I recommend you drop the local version and join the colab in the OP. "For retards" it has all the nice latest models and controlnet as well as latent couple(where you can prompt 2 characters). I can guide you through it but maybe later, I'm too tired to do so now. Just get a google account working and try to follow stupidproof guidelines in that colab. I recommend trying out holoomelette model.

Yea I think after the poisonya and stellar galaxy camermen I've learned to be content with any cameraman who knows to focus on the talents. I still really enjoyed it, Okayu looked great dancing and I love seeing her on stage with her friends.

Loras got baked into the main webui I think, you specify a folder for them in the settings and put any you download there, they should show up in the "additional networks" menu you can open up with the small icon under the generate button in txt2img. Then scour https://gitgud.io/gayshit/makesomefuckingporn#lora-list for whatever sounds interesting.

Yeah, it's a long story how I first disliked vtubers(back in 2019 when it started blowing up) but then decided to watch a few clips, and the clips in questions were with Pekora. Instantly got interested by her funny instant karma moments and silly laugh. Well here I am after all these years later still obsessed with vtubers.

Also a good place to start! Fubuki is great at introducing people to holo. Korone is also a starter for many, I'm really proud of her that she's so energetic even after so long.

Go ahead, it's fun! She has a variety of hairstyles now so I'm sure you can find what you like the most. Hairdown is definitely my personal favorite followed by twin braids.

On the topic of multiple holos in one image, despite having 1girl in tags I occasionally got a distinct Haato together with Haachama.
Also, most results weren't actually monster girls. Most of the time it was Chammers riding some usually-but-not-necessarily-spider-esque monstrosity. Sometimes the steed was even mechanical despite the lack of any mecha or robot tags.

re: tagging I've been using a downloader to save an adjacent filename.txt next to filename.png/jpg while I download images that strips artist/character tags but, if I'm not mistaken, if I'm e.g. trying to train a LoRA for certain attire or an outfit or something - I still want to REMOVE that tag from this list, right? so that the thing understands that IT is what I want, and that all the other tagged stuff is "THIS IMAGE ALSO CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING, PLS DISREGARD THX" and so I don't end up with a LoRA with 5 million activation tags

Loads dataset folder and tags if they have the correct structure separating them by ", " there you can mass prune tags that relate to whatever you are training on. For my Royal icing lora I pruned all artist, character, copyright tags and changed the "Artoria pendragon (lancer alter) (royal icing) (cosplay)" into just "royal icing" cus that was the main activation word I wanted to use but it still doesnt get working until you add something like lingerie. Maybe I should have pruned those in hindsight.
I think you have the basics down for it. You just gotta learn to wrangle the scripts into your favour.
Heres my understanding of tagging:
Character: Remove every tag related to how they look, eg. red hair, heterochromia, red eyes, yellow eyes and clothes. Only include the keyword/name for that character.
Concept: Similar to character but its the inverse. Remove any tags that are similar to the concept you want to train on or else they can become keywords themselves.
Style: Keep most if not all tags I think.

If it'll help you help me, I'm sick of rolling the fucking "center opening" gacha - so I want to train a proper "absolute cleavage" LoRA. Would that mean that "stomach, navel" are tags I should prune too? Also, since it's all of different characters, I'm not sure if I should keep or remove the character names...but I'm DEFINITELY keeping all of the tags relating to how they look in so that it doesn't learn that, right?

I straight up removed any greyscale/manga/spoken dialogue images from my dataset. Its just polluting it.
If the character names are important to your images then yes. Otherwise I would purge them, they shouldnt be important to the dataset.

Automatic aspect bucketing ratio. It auto resizes them into whatever it prefers. You only have to set the average resolution, usually 512 or upto 768. Higher consumes more VRAM which eats into your batch sizes. But can make it more versatile if prompting at a higher base res. Barely matters right now imo. I did it on 512.

the problem is it didn't use fucking underscores. so I'd get arm, behind, back, bangs, bare, shoulders. reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. fixing them by hand would be quicker than wading thru the 55 pages of shit images i looked at again.
