I've been posting about this issue for months. It's not a shadowban or anything but youtube chat is really really bad at just eating chat messages. This doesn't work from what I've found unless you want to use a separate devices to send the chats. If you have your name set to be filtered then YTCfilter will catch all your messages when you send them regardless of it youtube actually displays them. It could work if you set up a chat filter for your name then sent messages from other device, then the filter would only grab the messages that made it though.
Another way to test that I've tried, and is how I confirmed many of my messages just dont appear, is open the popout chat from a session where you aren't signed in then watch that chat for a few seconds after sending a message. You'll notice some appear and some don't

Nah, Gura is a straight shooter. She's pretty honest about things and manager just didn't tell her. She doesn't really hide much other than her private life. She drops hints of projects that we won't know until later and we connect the pieces together. You just don't make the connection because she takes so long for them to get released. That's probably one of the things she needs to work on is get her projects out faster than her usual pace.

Maybe I just don't know how hyperchat works but im not understanding how that extension would make YTCfilter ignore sent messages. The reason the YTCfilter method mentioned doesn't work is that the app filters based on video URL not the open chatbox. A filtered message will appear in every open iteration of YTCfilter for any specific stream. That means if you're running YTCfilter on the same chat box you're logged into and sending chat messages with it will grab them ever single time because that chat message always gets seen by the filter app. Because of this I can get messages to be grabbed that get filtered by youtube and never actually make it to top chat. If you could explain I'd be interested in knowing what hyperchat changes that would prevent that from happening
