Ok, the game has a major bug.
If you buy the eliminate upgrade & eliminate the basic weapon after you upgrade it at least once, then activate any special attack that buffs that weapon (Ame, Mori, Ayame) then the buff will stay AND YOU CAN STACK IT.
Here are some examples, Mori using her scythe with over 500 MILLION damage after multiple 300% damage buff & Touhou Ame.
No, it doesn't work with Bae's zero-delay special.

Run horizontally until you barely see her sprite when she starts channeling the first danmaku. Any nearer and blind spots are nonexistent, any further and you get sniped by her laser. Once you see the danmaku ending start running to her direction even if you eat one or two bullets so you can avoid the laser. The second danmaku is simple enough and that's when you ideally burst her down.

Her portals most likely need changed entirely, they are usually more of a hindrance than a help. That said, Shion is not in a bad place regardless; with the right stamps she becomes a literal shotgun. I cleared Stage 2 Hard with only a +4 weapon due to bad anvil RNG, because she just splatters enemy waves regardless with Shiraken/Usaken/Aqukin stamps.

weapons can show up in your level up with enchantments sometimes, it's random sometimes the game really wants you to have a certain weapon with an enchant and sometimes you can see it ten times without an enchant and then it'll pop up with one. you can also use an anvil to add or reroll an enchant on a weapon

Some weapons are already buffed at start of the stage, chosen at random. For others you can use the enchant option at an anvil to add a random bonus to the weapon, or reroll it if it already has one.
Collabs keep the enchantments of both their base weapons do it is beneficial to enchant both before combining.

If you really care about getting the lowest possible time regardless of character, you need to use projectile based holos like Ame or Roboco. The limit seems to be spawn rate, and Ame and Roboco can kill mobs off screen, making more spawn in.

No, levels don't matter any more, what matters if how many hits you can lend on enemies, as the Marine stamp is chance to drop coins per-hit. So Irys or Korone, who make ~10 hits per attack, will cause coins to explode on attack

That was the best before but not now.
The coin stamp makes it so your main weapon can have up to 30% chance of spawning a coin every time it hits any enemy. Irys’s main weapon does a ton of small, piercing hits. It is easy to get over 100,000 coins with irys using that stamp.

Okay stage 2 hard run. I misjudged level ups and went into the Nodoka fight 2 levels short of Dragonfire, meaning I spent most of the fight dodging and picking up xp until I got the last 2 plug-in levels and then the golden anvil.
I had a +1 projectile enchantment on it, along with being aqua, so my dragonfire deleted her almost instantly. By then I think the MiComet had mostly worn her down though.

She was already buffed. I haven't played her post buff but did a bunch beforehand so I imagine it is similar, just a bit easier. Look for weapons stamps that increase projectiles or cause explosions and such so you can trigger Omen more often. Haste is also really important for her. She is very mid-range, as you want to keep enemies not too close but not too far so you are in her cheerful laughter and mama zone for healing and damage.
Her special is her main gimmick but you might not wanna invest too much into it unless you are doing a One Weapon run because other weapons getting kills will reduce your omen hits and thus special charging, and a bunch of collabs will generally be more dependable than her special.

It's a touch call. It's a gimmick skill that feels worthless without the gimmick, as you now have 2 skills that are just AoE's except the garlic moves, but the gimmick itself is barely useful and often gets in the way. One option would be to make the portals affect enemies instead, like if they step on the closest one they are teleported back to the furthest one. But even then, you often won't be moving so far that the portals are even that far from one another. In all honesty, it probably is just a skill that needs replaced, and will just feel weird to have until it is.

Snow Elf Sake is incredibly good, way better than Frozen Sea for Wamy Water (and Frozen Sea was already great) unless you are using Aki. The huge area hits, knockbacks and freezes are incredible at locking down enemies. Even better with the already great MiComet because it traps them in the damage.
Frozen Sea is more overshadowed because stamps let you get slow from your Main Weapon now instead if you really need it.
I'm pretty sure Snow Elf Sake is going to get nerfed so enjoy it while it lasts.
The other good one I found is Bone Bros, though it competes with Flattening Board. It has pretty good forward damage+knockback with a wider coverage than Dragonfire, and unlike Dragonfire it benefits from Haste and has backfire+knockback to cover your back defensively too. For some reason BoneBros doesn't seem to have a weapon type though so I'm not sure if it works with Aqua's klutz. I'm Die, Thank you also has the problem that enemies that already have a bomb can pick up more, wasting it. A boss picking it up is also a bit of a waste too compared to the enemy hoard, and that is likely to happen if you have weapons you need to aim at the boss.
