Really depends on how far into the future the setting is. While a big united Earth Gov is a common trope I guess something similar to Gundam G where each nation gets their own Space station/company would also be cool. Though that probably limits the setting to the nearer systems or everyone is still inside Sol, so no FTL.

At first I thought keeping it in a single solar system would help things stay focused, but I think having a setup where we can freely add solar systems would let people get a lot more creative with new planets and exploration stories. Having the action happen in a star cluster or a nebula of a couple hundred systems might be a nice compromise of focus and freedom, I think.

>Palkyries
It’s kinda surprising that this world doesn’t seem to have a lot of animal-eared people despite how common they are in anime and by extension vtubing so I think it makes sense for parallels to be drawn between Palkyries and Risuners (especially when both are rodent-like people who often live on trees)
The funny thing’s that Liora was playing God of War and she and Baldur basically shares the same villain motivation I have a thing for communal child-bearing so I often want to include it in my worldbuilding! I figure it fits well with the more nomadic and militant Palkyries as well
I originally made the Palherjar *the* military component of /vnug/ as part of the idea of dividing jobs in /vnug/ along religious lines but in hindsight that might not be the best idea. Perherjar’s still fairly militant as a whole though so most /vnug/ soldiers are probably part of Palherjar, which might also mean that a Palherjar warrior monk/nun would just look like a /vnug/ soldier, or maybe we should say a /vnug/ soldier look like a Palherjar warrior monk/nun. The lore in https://rentry.org/vtwbg-vnuglore#weapons-martial-arts still applies though!
I… didn’t know it was a Kimetsu no Yaiba quote. I stumbled upon something like that in the comment section of a youtube video about some MtG color philosophy which I might’ve borrowed too much for Palkyrie philosophy
>Borasmor
Sometimes I worry that my prose might come off as cringe but it’s nice to hear people like it!
I tried to make it less overt hence the line about the lights (which is something else but that hasn’t been written yet) doesn’t reference it explicitly despite my tendency to ramble and spoil
Speaking of which, it’s actually pretty funny how the meaning of aurora in /vnug/ culture has evolved due to its connection with the valkyries and how valkyries work in this mythology. It also gives an interesting insight on how Palherjar sees death as the aurora remains a calming sight for them
I love that song too! I actually had it playing in the background while I wrote that part to help with describing it with written words. Somehow NSFW games from Japan almost always have the best OST around
I also like foreshadowing a bit too much since I keep adding it in everything

>>42662376
I would say if we’re all humans then logically we would come from the same ecosystem but then again it’s not like Palkyries and Risuners have a known shared ancestor beyond the one they share with other humans

Alright you fuckers time to set some shit straight.

1. Yes this was ORIGINALLY a loot quest for cool magics. However I am not going to make that the big thing. This whole expedition is about discovery, learning, culture exchange, and experimenting with magic.

2. I want this to be as beneficial in lore to the saplings as us as well as being fun for the saplings out of lore. I hope that the saplings actually have fun with this because tomorrow morning I'm going to go balls deep in writing everything. I had all day at work to think about it and I know what I'm gonna do.

3. I will be going crazy with magic. Pushing limits, doing cool/dumb shit, and basically whatever the fuck I can think of. Magic is fun and also pic related. Because fuck it.

that's a funny typo, I think that would require some spec bio... I like communal child-rearing too! I spent some time in a society that practiced it and it seems to work pretty well desu.
Ohh I see, yes that does ring a bell. This blurring of lines between social classes is kinda neat, I guess that's what happens when religion and lifestyle get really intertwined.

You find wisdom in the strangest places... That's a good saying, I bet it's somewhere in the Bible or the Vedas.

Author self-criticism is rough! I think I worry a bit too much about that myself. Yeah, you tied auroras into their popular consciousness neatly. Religious cultures often have a serene view on death, so that comes together well.

I didn’t even notice the typo until it’s pointed out… in hindsight communal child-bearing does sound like something you get from some kinda insectoid hive mind creatures
I think the religious division should still work unless the population becomes really unbalanced. I also feel it fits well with the ongoing tarot card motif even if they rarely touch on the deeper meaning of each card
As for MtG philosophy I ended up assigning each group a shard or wedge that I think fit them the most to supplement their philosophy and values but I don’t know if that’s the best idea or if I’m projecting too much

Mine was more a symbiosis between the worms and humanoids so it’s probably more like Leto II before he went full(-ish?) worm. I did try making a fully non-humanoid species before that although that’s more a slime that has assimilated the entire ecosystem
We most definitely have a White in the next gen although my doubts for Remlin’s colors is more because I feel we have a fairly tight-knit community. If one of the colors have to go it’s probably Red but I don’t know if Green/White/Blue reflects us better than Blue/Red/Green

Ah, Leto II... You never go full-worm, immortality is not worth never being able to scratch your nose again.
Slime ecosystem? Like star craft creep? Or did it have some sentience?
That's a cool logo, the description + wings made me think of Celestial Being. Except it's better, because it has a skull.
Based on Kokone's streams, White comes to me a bit more easily than Red, but I haven't spent a lot of time in the thread.

>> No.42676693

>>42675684
When I designed it I was trying to make a species that is sapient in some way (they know how to interact and modify the ecosystem for their own goals) but not sentient/conscious (they have no sense of self or a hivemind that we can understand as an individual) depending on how the words are defined. They had Zerg-like properties like forming slimy creep and modifying other life forms, up and including humanoids who serve as their mouthpiece and smiths since slime isn’t good at handling things like fire. I imagine they gave those humanoids specific forms of synesthesia so they can convert information into forms that the humanoids could understand (as they otherwise don’t communicate in ways we understand)
I think aesthetics might actually be one of the strong suits of V&U! Most of their logos are pretty cool and I like the tarot motif! I’m glad they decide to keep that for gen 2
I think so too since Kokone isn’t particularly Red despite having been a League player. I guess maybe I just associate Green/White/Blue with Bant’s lore too much and felt it doesn’t fit how I see Remland?

>> No.42677767

Emergent intelligences are interesting, you can get a lot of cleverness out of lots of dumb bits thinking together. Not unlike those neural nets that have gotten popular enough to collab with Liora.. Synesthesia? Did the slime only think in color?
It is, they've got a good graphic designed on-call.
>league player = Red
kek. Yeah, I can see how you'd make that association. The color themes are a lot wider than the shards of the setting, so I wouldn't worry about that.

The slime doesn’t think only in colors (if they think at all) but they don’t have languages or writing systems that we know so they interact with others by activating their neurons (although it was written long before this became a meme) so they modify friendly humanoids in a way that they can convey information by poking specific neurons associated with the concepts
That’s true especially since I imagine White to be secondary to Green for Remlins. That said I can also see a hint of Bant being introduced when many Palkyries migrated to Remland during the Mujigae period

>> No.42678808

>>42678317
Oh, that kind of synesthesia, makes sense. I wonder what it would feel like to have the slime communicate with you like that. I'm reminded of an experiment where they inserted an electrode into someone's brain and stimulating just right region made the person just kind of taste banana. I think I'd find disembodied sensations or thoughts like that a bit distressing, but I guess that would be on-brand for the mind-controlling slime.
>That said I can also see a hint of Bant being introduced when many Palkyries migrated to Remland during the Mujigae period
Do you mean the mix of different races like humans, bird people and rhinos in Bant? Or more like the martial culture of Palkyries introducing more order.

I never got around actually writing stories for them but it would probably be similar to this quote since I like the game
>I think, and my thoughts cross the barrier into the synapses of the machine - just as the good doctor intended. But what I cannot shake, and what hints at things to come, is that thoughts cross back. In my dreams the sensibility of the machine invades the periphery of my consciousness. Dark. Rigid. Cold. Alien. Evolution is at work here, but just what is evolving remains to be seen.
I meant the latter since one of Bant’s theme is martial honor and it’s something that Palkyries would have in spades, although Remlins would also have multiple races like humans, elves, and Palkyries due to the migration I don’t know if I should add more than that though, since on one hand I don’t want to exclude future members who happen to have unique fan mascot design, but on the other hand /vnug/ already has a small population and keep adding more fantasy races in it will get ridiculous very soon

Alpha Centauri, now that's a throwback. A forgotten gem if there's ever been one, it was better than any of the main line civ games until IV and two of its DLCs came out imo.
Just play it by ear! Countries are pretty big, they can fit lots of people. You might just find you want to put together new biomes so the new species can have a niche in the land without being displaced too easily. Muskeg people, marine people, I think there's still a few slots if one of the new mascots happens to fit.

That actually does make sense, there'd be less dramatic biological differences between races but you'd also have a kind of fun base line to work from. There could also be alien races, like a race of shrimp people that got converted into worshipping Gura by human chumbuds.
I could actually see that being a thing for lots of corpo races, converting as many aliens as possible to the worship of your pantheon and finding aliens that conceptually align with your chuuba.

>Do you guys mine or use underground caves for anything?
No, we have no need since we don't have really have any industry and barely any exports.

>Do you domesticate animals or use farms?
No need, we don't kill animals (we rarely eat meat and even then only from animals that have passed away naturally), and we can coax the forest to grow any plants we use for sustenance without having to actually make farms.

>Does your magic require an arcane focus such as a staff, orb, wand, etc?
It can, but not generally (This might change after we get some gems from Risuners). Our magic is mostly channeled through chants, prayers, and sometimes rituals.

>Can you hear the whisper of fauna clearly? Can you tune it out if you tried?
Not clearly, but certain saplings are able to train themselves to Listen to the forests. What they Hear is sometimes attributed to Fauna's thoughts, but its hard for them to tell if that's Fauna or if that's just the forest.

>Do the hoomans or any other group have any interest in relations with you? I mean this such as researching and studying your ways?
Sigh... The relationship with our neighbors has been complicated from the get-go. GENERALLY Sanalites are ok with respecting our culture and just studying our ecosystems. Both Sanalites and Hoomans have historically showed interest in just crossing our borders and starting lumber operations in our forests. You'll have to ask them about what their latest consensus is.

>Do you stockpile weapons in case of emergency?
Again, no need. We don't really have weapons. Maybe some spears or clubs from some of the more adventurous saplings, but its not common. We have specialized Ents that are in charge of keeping the forests safe, and the saplification process curse tends to deter many threats.

Regarding the border crossings. The strip of NE /uuu/ is tricky since it's literally just a strip and doesn't seem all that natural for the activity range for a bunch of hunter gatherers. And since historically /nasa/ is uninhabited I thought that having some people traveling North for lumber, while (mostly) observing and respecting rules of the saplings living in that strip would make sense and create some interesting lore. My headcanon is that it's more so a local agreement/treaty between the northern Vedyrps and tribes, not necessarily a national one.

I think its in our lore docs somewhere but tl;dr:
Tribes are lead by shamans, usually called Matres (often matriarchal). Each forest has an Elder Tree. Saplings and especially leaders make a yearly pilgrimage to their respective Elder Tree to discuss matters of their forest. The Elder Trees can sync up (something something chuubanite). And eventually the entire country gets all of its news and decides on courses of action.
So yes, we do have ruling bodies, but other nations might find our process... somewhat trying of their patience... before we give answers.

Ah right. Actually forgot about that. Though in retrospect the incredibly short amount of time the sanalites have been planetside on vitubia probably means the road never got finished. Probably a better idea for it to be some pre-existing path that was proposed to be expanded, but fell through. Though since now Northern /uuu/'s supposed to be subartic the forest probably looks a lot different than what we first imagined.

Purely tribal matters would be up to the individual shaman
Things that would affect other tribes would have to be discussed at the respective Elder Tree
Nation-wide concerns would wait until the yearly council

That being said, anything involving "terraforming" or issues that directly impact a forest or its ecosystem, would be considered nation-wide events, even if the area being affected is localized to a single tribe's "area" or forest.

You get cheap lumber (you dont get to cut anything down, we deliver specific trees to you, read /uuu/ lore if you care to know why), and safe passage North (we coax our Ents and forest guardians out of your roads), and you work diplomacy with other nations so that they generally leave us alone, respect our boundaries, etc.

I feel like the permissive canonicity rules make it so that if a writer wishes to build their lore from a clean slate, they can simply retcon/ignore any related lore from the main Vitubia setting and work from there, while still giving the writers interested in playing with that continuity an opportunity to do so. Would that address this concern? But if there's a desire to not include this, we could also go for a fresh, unrelated Vitubia. Are there opinions from others on this topic?
In either case, the status of the main Vitubia lore should be specified in the intro doc, so I'll add a section regarding that.
Also, tell me what's wrong with the card kek. Is it the typo in "Unknows"?

I'm kind interested in what both sides are thinking here since sci fi universe canons have always been considerably more dubious than fantasy canon and this setting taking place 40k years in the future means that alot of the lore in base Vitubia would stop mattering or just be totally forgotten.

Keks aside, when I say Vitubia I mean Vitubia the setting and not Vitubia the planet. There's a few ways that I can think of off the top of my head about how Vitubia as a planet can relate to CVT40K
>Vitubia is a terra like place of cultural importance for most space faring faction, may or may not be in a state of ruin. Control over it is symbolic
>Vitubia is just another planet with little to no importance, might be the ancestry of space faring races but nobody really cares
>Vitubia is a place of cultural influence to the point where wars are waged over who has the right to claim it, there might even be multiple Vitubias with multiple different empires claiming it to be the origin point of man
All in all, making CTV40k a canonical reality of Vitubia the setting seems like a bad move, both tonally and in terms of keeping a consistent canon

I found some useful sources for those that want to understand the Köppen-Geiger Climate Classification better.

1. Basic Guide for beginners:
https://files.catbox.moe/geva7l.pdf

I think this is a nice introduction for those who are just trying to figure out what stuff means without getting into the Autism that others discuss.

2. More in-depth overview from an Appendix,
https://files.catbox.moe/4usquv.pdf

This is a much more in depth overview of the Köppen-Geiger Climate Classification from British Columbia/Yukon Open Authoring Platform (Available at no cost to the faculty and staff in B.C. and the Yukon for the purpose of creating and revising open textbooks and other open educational resources. https://opentextbc.ca/pressbooks/chapter/content-disclaimer/)) that is extremely well done in my opinion and comes with a variety of resources at the bottom such as maps of the Köppen-Geiger Climate Classification. It also includes the next one.

3. Simple Köppen-Geiger Climate Classification Decision Making System
https://files.catbox.moe/9alq7d.pdf
Incredibly helpful for worldbuilding, but also short. Use at your own discretion. I have no clue what the pages they are talking about are but I would use #2 for help along with #4.

4. Glossary of Terms for Physical Geography and Earth Science
https://files.catbox.moe/5fkbu9.pdf
I think this is just useful in general for all of us when it comes to knowing what a term even means, and is a good tool. I would recommend it, nonetheless.

Whomever controls the useful resources page, please add these. I might make a Climate and Biome Classification Guide myself that will include these among others.

I honestly am more in favour of vitubia the solar system instead of one planet and it being entirely seperated from the canon of planet vitubia.

It means no wonky canon stuff with the lore of both projects and a clean slate to work with.

It also means everyone can write themselves on planets without one planet being the main planet or the need to have originated from it

Not really, it's not all or nothing. I'll give an example.
Person A wants to write for KFP, and writes that space KFP originated from Vitubia. Person A wants to write about /towa/, and writes that Kenzokus came from the Tower system, not from Vitubia as they are in Base Vitubia. Both of them can do that, and acknowledge each other.
>>42752542
With the no canon rules, I don't think there's a way for cvt40k to be a canon part of Base Vitubia. The question is more "to what extent is cvt40k a continuity of Base Vitubia vs being a completely separate universe".
>>42756963
Yeah, I don't think it would fit with Base Vitubia to even try to make cvt40k a canon part of it, even if it was doable.

Then, there might be a slight contradiction between the two, and that's okay. Maybe if the KFP writer want to write about space Towa as well he might say space towa and vitubia towa are entirely different people who happened to worship the same goddess. The point of no canon rule is to help smooth out those kind of small wrinkles.

I am excited to present this! I have had a lot of thoughts about lore and had some trouble thinking of things because it rather seemed like everything was getting too serious and personal over the smallest things rather than having fun. It made working with other's a bit stressful and sucked a lot of fun out of the project for me.

BUT, after a short break and some talking with others, I have got something really special here. This is a not only a war story, but a story about the men and (one woman) that are part of this group I have made. I am even more excited that this story is part of the greater project by the ladies in NijiJP known as the Heishin War, and proud that I can express my own heritage somewhat through fiction here.

Not anchoring yet because I might change the name of the story, and I don't know how many of y'all are even interested given that the sci fi stuff seems more exciting to you right now, but I still am happy and proud to share the introduction to this!

seriously, this kind of attitude is what has led to problems in the past. why even include such petty and worthless statements when you can just say "i am excited to present this, this is my overall plan, and i am thankful, etc." consider not loading your personal feelings on to things because i personally won't read this now because of this rather incendiary introduction you gave and i encourage others to not until you apologize or clarify why you felt the need to even say those things.

Promise fame? etc. That said, while i know its only the prolugue to get to the actual story, i feel its a bit too "smooth" which kind of breaks the immersion of it being a story and sounds like stuff will potentially go too well all the time which can kill tension. He was a troublemaker till 12 but imneaditly gets along and behaves with the uncle, i feel it would be more natural if the two also start out rougher because of his behavior and the uncles view of the pampered rich. Same with his shootibg ability, to have him beat seasoned man wirh more years of experience than he is even alive with just a few years of shootibg goes a bit beyond being a prodigy. Well, in cvt40k you could just make it so the onobots and Lumi were never on Vitubia. That's fine. And at the same time the Sanallites could still do something with Cass if they want.

If we went with the SCP approach to canon, there'd be a limited amount of "truths", which might be stuff like what planets and solar systems there are, and then everything else is not constrained by any particular canon. Hey, I’ve had some thoughts on the setting of the sci-fi AU.
Don’t know if the date has been definitively set in stone yet but maybe it could be set at an earlier date than 40k years in the future? I don’t have a good grasp on time so I don’t know how far in the future I’m thinking but maybe it could be set in a time period where the home systems of most are developed and terraforming, FTL, and other cool sci-fi stuff is present, but some of the systems relatively nearby haven’t been fully mapped out yet and space stations are still being made.
I’m not very smart when it comes to this kind of thing so feel free to disregard

This isn't set yet, maybe we can go for a different Vitubia. It's not a huge difference, really. A writer could just set his thread's "main vitubia" lore in this different vitubia and it's effectively the same thing desu. The fact that it doesn't make much of a difference is why I don't think this would be an issue for you.
>>42773217
40k years is very much a number picked for the funni reference, we could go for a shorter timeframe. I'm also not sure how much of the sector would be colonized by 40k years, since we don't actually know when space exploration began. Maybe Vitubia spent 37k years recovering from the cataclysm and space exploration is semi recent. Or maybe it took 30k years.
Having maybe 2-3 dozens of systems well-developed with hundreds remaining undeveloped or unexplored sounds somewhat reasonable, but that's just a number.

Forgot to get back to you but I'd much rather Vitubia the planet be used as a kind of "legend" that different space empires make claims to but nobody is quite sure if it exists for real in the context that they believe it does or where it truly is. There's a "Vitubia" under the control of an HLGG empire, one for the Nijis, and possibly one that's in conflict between VSJ+ and other indie powers. I think the true Vitubia could be where many natural druidic societies have resided and are dedicated to preserving as the birthplace of their beliefs which not many know about and which they intend to keep hidden.

All in all it looks good Risuner! Was a nice read and the dialog was straightforward and to the point.

Couple of notes:
- Naming conventions for Saplings are usually Latin/Roman based or at least sounding. Sycamore is fine, though if you feel like changing it an easy pivot would be to use some sort of mix or shortening of the scientific name for the species (Platanus occidentalis)
- Sapling society is primarily matriarchal, so most shamans would be female. But its not unheard of for males to be shamans occasionally, so Sycamore being a guy is fine.
- Ya'll are gonna be here for a whole year? Make sure you mention that at some point to Sycamore because special accommodations will have to made for your crew to prevent the saplification process from affecting you too harshly. Even so, if youre staying a whole year, green tails might be inevitable. (Though maybe with your gems you could redirect the curse/blessing into another focus point? It'd have to be a living thing though... Might be an interesting discussion point...)
- A Nurturer would be a sapling that's already turned Ent, but they would care more about the forest's health than talking with anyone. A Treant would probably be closer to what you're thinking of, but either way, they wouldn't be a shaman. Sycamore can be just another sapling, though depending on the age you want him to be in the story he'd definitely have some saplification signs (up to you how you wanna color this, horns, hooves, fur, leaves, feathers, bark skin, its all on the table, picrel is just an example, doesn't have to be exactly like that).

I don't think anyone had this in mind, or at least I hope not. My idea was that none of the fandoms or generals would say they're "from vitubia", they'd have a planet and a homeworld or a host of worlds and planets. Well, the thing is that if taking parts is allowed, but taking lots of parts isn't allowed, we kinda have to define "how much" is allowed, which seems like it would be kinda arbitrary. Seems easier to just let the writers do what they would prefer, you know?

It can be any number of Death World but it probably would be Death World 4, I think you'd be prevented from just replicating your old lore by the fact that it's so far into the future. Unless your nation had some kind of high tech quality, being able to build mechs and gigantic space ships to colonize planets as well as any number of technologies related to your chuuba is likely to stop anyone from just replicating their old lore. Moriji would have several different planets under its rule and even if there's a capital planet that is essentially just a copy and paste, there's still the fact that the capital planet has to have some governing system and such that base Moriji from vitubia would lack.

well as i have said, i personaly rather have this be a seperate setting contained in itself rather than just an offshoot extension of old vitubia and rather have vitubia as the name of the solar system and each planet clearly not be old vitubia at all and then people can give nods to the old vitubian lore as they see fit, jsut as namign the solar system vitubia already would be a nod towards the old vitubia setting, then have several different iterations of how much old vitubia is an actual thing for each writer and have wonky canon.

because if everyone is jsut writing their own alternate version parallel to each other then its not really collaborative world building anymoore but jsut each person writing alone and only overlapping when it fits and then you may as well just go to /wg/.

having partial inconsistency is fine, one person says a town got 10 buildings with 50 people in it and another saying its 12 buildings with 38 is not really an issue as long as everyone can agree there is a town with people there, but if the bas eof the setting already has a planet that some need to ignore for their stuff, others got their own interpretation for wha tit actually is like the idea above with several planets named like that for different empires and then again others that have it straight up being vitubia from old vitubia lore with all the lore from that setting intact, then i personaly don't feel very motivated to wrtie for that

I think the way I'm seeing it is that it's essentially impossible to replicate your nation in a way that they'd say "Moriji from Vitubia" without that leading into a host of questions that would change it from Old Vitubia as a setting. In my view, even if Old Vitubia exists, it doesn't restrict anyone in any particular way anymore than Old Vitubia restricted anyone else. If someone wants to say, "I'm from Vitubia" they can't just say they're from a copy and paste of their country from Vitubia because establishing what the hell Vitubia is at all is necessary to determining what their nation is.
I'm also in favor of a separate setting and don't intend to have my own nation have Vitubia as a lore entry but I don't see it's existence as making it canonically wonky or the same setting unless the issue of Old Vitubia is never tackled and explained as a group as to what it means and what it is. Its like how in Star Wars humans are definitely a thing and are all over the place but there's no mention of Earth (to my knowledge), I think its too early to really decide that the setting isn't for you when it seems like you have some interesting ideas for it but it's always your choice what you want to write and I wont try and pressure you into changing your viewpoint just because I see it differently.

It's just like any other planet, except it has a longer history. >What if we have different ages in Vitubia with different tech levels? Or do you think jumping around time would make writing history a mess.
It would be pretty messy which is why I don't think anyone has really made the effort to do so yet despite the desire for a generally higher tech level. The idea of a dubious canon is intended to let people write different scenarios in CVT40k without having to worry about the canonicity of all parties involved given the sheer scope of a proposed space setting, or at least that's what it sounded like to me.
>>42788207
How Vitubia is treated depends entirely on if its this Vitubia aka a Vitubia with several different pantheons and cultures that interact with each other or something entirely different. What are the exact canonicity rules because they might just wave away this issue, the main problem is that if someone wanted to say that they're an undiscovered empire that's traversing a new galaxy or just now branching out into intergalactic diplomacy, having them on Vitubia would affect their idea of what their nation is and the future writings they can do for it. They'll have to ignore what was written about them on Vitubia or Vitubia would be retconned to have everything but them but the problem would also occur if another nation had the same idea of not being present.

That's basically the idea, though I prefer the clearer term "no canon" as opposed to "dubious canon" kek.
>How Vitubia is treated...
Yep, this is a conversation that should be had. In my opinion, nothing in Main Vitubia needs to be considered "canon" (what is called a ground truth in the intro doc) besides its existence. Using your example, someone who wants to write a society alien to Vitubia would definitely not be forced to be a part of it. Instead of picking what to "ignore" from Vitubia lore, it's more like we're picking what to "include". It's additive. Like, saplings establishing that there's still a cradle of fauna in the /uuu/ forest after all this time would be a (theoretical) example of that. That doesn't mean that the /tsunX/ kingdom also ever existed in Vitubia.
>>42788874
>it should be "planet X" that is jsut as importance then any other planet on a base principle, not "vitubia" that all the old vitubia lore happened on and the "main" planet of the setting
"Main" planet of the setting is a bit misleading, since the setting encompasses the whole sector, so that can be removed. And as I mention above, I don't see it as the planet where all the old lore happened. It's more like, the planet where if you want old lore to have happened, that's where you'd set it.

>what then in your book stops people from doing that
Simply put, you literally can't just make a one to one duplicate with the same dynamics and attitude. If we're using Moriji as an example, they can still be constantly fighting against others and have more or less the same governmental structure as they did before but if they're capable of being a space faring nation than they'd have had to conquered their planet and advanced to the point of having the ability to mine enough metal to create their ships and to have either developed their own form of ftl travel (probably something called a death drive or a mortis engine) or have been taught it by another civilization. Any nation capable of getting to the point of space exploration which we're assuming most nations are has a history of how it was done and what their specific beliefs did to shape their culture on a planetary scale, even if the Moriji space sailor is essentially just the same as the Moriji sailor in Vitubia, he's got an entirely different history that can shape him in any number of ways and might not even be from the Planet X which is the main Moriji based off of the one from vitubia, he could be part of a mining colony or a runaway noble or just a trader whose done a good enough job to allow himself to venture farther and trade boldly. The wealth of creative options is so vast that I'd be genuinely surprised if someone managed to dodge every and all creative option when it comes to sci-fiying up their nation.

Risuners would not be anywhere close to the eldar, I'm not sure they'd even have a place in the wider galaxy since the idea that they'd develop enough to have orbital missiles and just tell anyone that tries to contact them to fuck off sounds pretty on point. I think Eldar would be literally just Aki Rosenthal if you were looking for the most literal one to one, even in terms of her having a generally lower fanbase before reddit savior fagging occurred but that's an off of the top of my head holo and she has no lore in the archives whatsoever to base her civ on.

You mind explaining this post in a little more detail?
>We can hide our villages by moving the forests around us, but thats primarily because our forests are alive in an almost conscious way.
I think the best thing we could give you is a lot of soils from deeper within our forests. In the deep forests, just about anything planted will grow at an accelerated rate. While this effect wouldn't last forever outside of /uuu/, if we gave you some heavily invested with our chuubanite, you could take it back home and plant your trees in it, and our shamans could teach and train your risuners and your witch how to control the accelerated growth within our soil using chants and prayers (and possibly some blood sacrifices since youll probably need something boosting chuubanite) to shape the plants into large structures like houses, buildings, fortifications, etc. made out of solid wood.

>We can hide our villages by moving the forests around us
We can move pretty much any living plant life in the forest by asking it to do so because we can communicate with the forests (some saplings more than others). This really only works within our borders because of the chuubanite in the soil (and secondhand, its respective radiation in our air).
>our shamans could teach and train your risuners and your witch
We could teach you some of our chants and rituals so that you could control how the seeds you plant in our soil grow during their accelerated process, but once the plant has grown and the chuubanite is spent, you won't be able to control it anymore. So you could grow some structures, but you wouldn't get the advantage of being able to move things after-the-fact like we can.

OK cunt enough of your bullshit. I can block you on the cord but not here so time to leak some shit.

Sapling. You said that you would give us soil from deep within your forests because it grows fast. Thats cool. But are you willing to dig up a bunch of soil to fill up a bunch of boats? Thats a lot of fucking dirt to dig up.

Also I will ask this since I kind of have to. Is sapling soil absolutely necessary? I know you have a different magic system than the risuners but you are both magical plant based nations. Dirt is dirt and even if we cant have magic enhanced growth your magic rituals would still work in other places, even if at a slower rate or a different effect.

Cunt I will literally make 2x or 3x plant growth a thing again just to spite your nigger ass. Im the risu rep and i can do whatever the fuck I want.

You want to know why they said "in our soil" in that post? Well because whose else are going to use. Risuners are there so of course theyre going to use it. I said this in the cord as a reason and I will repost it here

>Ok let me explain this so that everyone can understand. If I go to my friends house and he teaches me how to plant carrots he is going to say "yeah just plant it in my garden" Does that mean that I need to take his fucking garden home with me if I ever want to plant carrots?

At the end of the day saplings will learn and use new magic and so will risuners. Fucking deal with it. I was planning on making some silly magical effects happen anyway since yes our chuubanite is not the same. Maybe instead of growing flowers we grow giant venus fly traps. I dont fucking know but I do know that im having fun experimenting with magic and I dont need niggers like you trying to derail it because your STILL butthurt that to this day you never got to cannibalize a risuner and your chink whore oshi graduated. Get fucked.

Cunt shut the fuck up. OG and sapling we're having a good time until you had to be autistic about fucking dirt.

OG you are being very aggressive about the whole magic thing yourself
So let me be the only voice of reason here. Sapling said their dirt has acceleration. And once it gets used no more pepega speed plant growth. So I guess I don't know THEY WILL JUST GROW AT REGULAR SPEED!?

Boom. Case closed. If risuners don't haul a fuckload of dirt back then they can do whatever weird magic bullshit they want it will just be slower and like OG said the results may vary.

Lastly to the sapling. Please ignore the damn sanalite when he asks stupid shit like this. Him and OG fucking hate each other and have for a long time and it's just not worth your time and effort. Just please keep having fun with OG and don't let either of those idiots ruin what is honestly a good thing. Thank you and have a nice day.
