So just elongate the time it takes to get to the gameplay to make it better? Sure, your video game should have some delayed gratification, but making only 5% of your ingame time spent not running around is not "way better". It just helps give the illusion to all the casuals they have a chance to win the game (which they do, just much lower.)

well it does give you a good rush when you beat an enemy squad by pure skill or smarts, and to win you have to be essentially unbeaten in a single match, so when you have a good match, it feels really good

RBC's the only Apex player worth a damn in Hololive other than Botan, who doesn't play anymore. Yes, I am aware that Aqua is ranked higher, but Aqua also plays the game like a retard, rats her way to Top 5 every game, ignores her teammates, avoids fights, and is proof that the RP system is flawed. Roboco is the significantly more skilled player but doesn't sologrind Ranked so much it nearly kills her twice in one month.

Finally, someone who knows what the fuck they're talking about. I've been trying to make this argument forever. Roboco is mechanically fantastic at this game, and she plays it in a way that's entertaining to watch as well. Actively working and communicating with teammates regardless of their skill level, consistently fragging each match - and she has a great time while doing it. God, I love Roboco.

I always hear Astel is really good but I've never watched him play, but I wouldn't doubt it.

Aqua has a very narrow skill range, can only reliably play a fistful of characters and weapons, lacks good and consistent movement tech, and avoids conflict like an abuse victim. She also pushes herself WAY too far stamina-wise.
Aqua's had good teammates mulitple times and she has literally gone out of her way to be in a completely different area than them. She's a high-Plat player that autism'd herself into high Diamond on sheer play time. She's not BAD at the game but she has a lot of weak points that are holding her back, chief of which is her complete disregard of her team.

Avoiding completely random fights should be what a good player is doing especially on kings canyon, she can definitely play a lot of characters, the only gun she can't consistently use is the wingman (even then she can still do this https://twitter.com/minatoaqua/status/1372855024838053888 ) and can very consistently wallbounce (though she doesn't use this in actual fights but movement doesn't really make that much of a difference when you're up against people who can actually aim anyway).

I've watched multiple Aqua Apex streams and I've never seen anything I would call skillful play or evidence of exceptional gamesense. That said, even under the assumption that everything you said is true (maybe it is and I'm just didn't notice or caught bad days), that doesn't excuse her inability to play with a team of any sort in a team game. It's one thing if she's in pubs, but she's playing ranked and soloqing to Masters. SoloQ to Masters is borderline impossible when you DO work with your team. There's a reason most people with no friends drop after they hit D4. SoloQ to Masters is beyond impossible if you don't ever work with your team and actively avoid them like Aqua does.
Even if you want to say that Aqua is a better player than Roboco, RBC is significantly more willing to cooperate with a team and play the game as opposed to playing the system and pretending their her team doesn't exist. That alone would make most people better than Aqua, regardless of her rank.

Not willing to work with her team how? Her teammates get outgunned and die? The logical option would just be to save herself instead of trying to 1v3. Her teammates solo push and get killed? Why would she know that they're pushing with no comms when she's distracted by something else? The difference between her soloing to master and when other people like shiv or timmy solos to master is that she has absolutely ZERO comms what so ever which hits especially hard in high diamond. Even people as mechanically talented as them need minimal comms to tell their teammates what they're doing. Also give me a clip where RBC does somerhing just the tiniest bit more mechanically more impressive than what Aqua has done.
