They didn't say they cancelled it because of covid they said they cancelled it because of delays in the recording of the concert, covid was one of the excuses they gave they gave for why there were delays and the talents were implying that excuse was bullshit. Basically trying to use covid as a convenient excuse for whatever else went wrong that caused them to get so behind schedule they had to cancel the entire thing.
