Is it all 100% Neuro? How do we know it's real and not a team of people, especially the react stuff? Is she listening, watching and reading at the same time? What kind of super giga desktop pc is she running on? The minecraft gameplay is incredibly impressive for being a bot that reacts to the environment but it's believable. These new video reactions however are a bit sus. She sounds and acts more human here than when she's replying to chat. And sometimes during chat it feels like someone wrote some of her responses every now and then with how specific she gets.

In her normal videos she seems more random and vague and unhinged. How can she suddenly accurately react to youtube videos all of a sudden and stay on topic?

This direct use of the TTS has been happening more frequently lately, I guess vedal's ego kicked in and they've decided they're more interesting than whatever the AI has to say.

Vedal, if you're reading this, here's a tip: it's pretty easy to tell when you're overriding the AI, specially when you decide to act like a passive-aggressive tranny. I do have a trained eye for spotting the override but you've been doing it so blatantly lately that anyone can tell and it only pushes many away from the concept.

Keep doing this and someone will come and take up the torch and do what you seemed to have been doing at first - which is letting the AI do its thing - and much better than you.

Perhaps you've misunderstood what I said. His react streams are 99% just someone writing their own words and using TTS (no AI prompt), and his normal streams (Minecraft, Osu, etc) are like 90% prompts and 10% overrides (i.e. someone talking in place of the AI).

In the second case there's NO reason for it to be so, we want to listen to the AI even if it's gibberish. And you said so yourself that the AI is decent enough to carry a stream - yes, that is correct - then why is Vedal overriding so much? That's why I said that, ego, the only explanation; or are you implying that the reason would be that Vedal is actually retarded? No chance. That's not how AI works, it has to be trained for highly specific cases using huge amount of data to be fed to it to develop patterns. that's an extreme take
it's more reasonable to think that vedal has made himself an interface where he can click on inputs (either from the chat, or the image recognition system, or the youtube transcript) to cause neuro to react to them
this was probably originally designed as a safety system, because he didn't trust his input filters (and he would still have a filter on her output, just in case)
so it's possible that 90% of what she (thinks she) sees and hears is filtered out before it gets to her language model
i do think that a lot of her rants could be pre-generated, though, with vedal cherry-picking the best ones, and using prompt-engineering to find good topics
and he must have a way to force her to say things, like those lines she uses when transitioning between chatting and singing mode
probably the line about her spending valentine's day with him was scripted too

If the string "Ceres Fauna" doesn't appear in the video data, or in the chat, then you're saying she had to have seen "#ceresfauna" in the video tags, cross-referenced it against the word "Fauna" in the video title/description, then split the string and capitalized the first letters, using context clues to understand that these are someone's first and last names. And after doing all that, the quirky AI replaced the "N" with two "L"s for no reason.
Something strange must have caused this unique output, and I'm not sure what it was, but I don't think it can explained simply by her being a neutral AI reacting to the data in a video.

Again that's not how it works. He would've to feed it 100s of images of forsen for it to eventually say back it's forsen with 90% confidence. You can search the image recognition models and see how good they are on static images, let alone analyzing audio on top of that. Another example from forsen bit was how she recognized the speedrun clock and made a joke about how long it's taking him. Again it would have to understand the concept of how long it would take to be "long" on top of recognizing the clock timer and still saying "it's took him 5 hours" when it was running at 3 something.

At 1:04:10 in https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1726234297?t=1h4m10s (right before she comments on it) the name "Ceres Fauna" is on the bottom left of the screen, but the typeface makes it look like the "n" is "ll", which could cause that typo in the text extracted from that video frame.
At 45:34 before the "five hours" comment, people are chatting "-6 hours", so that text, or a misreading of it, might have caused that comment. Text is much easier to extract from an image than other features, so Neuro-sama probably relies on captions and text read from the image.
The stream was mostly dead air and non sequiturs, so video reaction streams might not be ideal, even if Vedal's PC could handle it. Especially since it prevents her from talking with chat, which is the primary appeal.

I think it's an issue of how consistent in subject matter the video is. The turtle video was entirely about turtles, so anything she said would be about turtles and thus be in context. She followed the NileRed video until it started cutting to different processes that weren't explicitly turning wood transparent, so she just started talking about water, ice cream, and other things she thought she could see and forgot about wood. The rapid fire meme videos didn't work at all because it was a completely different subject every few seconds so she'd make one generic comment about what it looks like.

In my personal experience, it was not the first time I have seen good timing or something like that happening be it in video content or in real life... but if we are only talking about streaming and not exactly about timing, I was recently watching Vinny from Vinesauce playing Hitman and he was doing a human pile bit since he was having a hard time actually getting the target on that mission the way he wanted, after finishing this mission he played another one and a background npc in the game said almost the same pile related line he said during the bit. (I can't remember how exactly it was)
