Bait thread but I like Gura after initially having doubts after watching a fair few game streams. While Ame is the "gamer" of the group she has very e-girl taste in playing your standard fotm team esport games, while Gura despite not being much of a game fanatic feels the best out of the bunch for playing your well known proper Japanese singleplayer games and even if she sucks at them she tries her best to get better even if it doesn't work and power through them. While also being really funny to watch since you can see her brain working in real time.
Just wish she would finish more of the games she got far into, and that she either played one game at a time or streamed more often so she didn't end up having week long gaps between play sessions and forgetting everything.
Her DMC3 stream proved she can do well if she keeps playing, I played and beat DMC3 recently and was shocked at how hard it was and am surprised Gura managed to get as far as she did.

It's kind of both. They subbed because she was trendy but the kids and normalfags seemed to enjoy her Minecraft streams. If she plays Minecraft or some flavor of the month shit the numbers will be extremely high because they actually show up. If she plays something like Metroid or DMC3 they aren't interested. People say the game doesn't matter but that's only true when your audience subbed to you for you. A lot of her subs didn't care about the actual person when they clicked the button.

With that said she still has a fuckton of viewers even on a bad day. Hololive has skewed the perception of what it means to be a successful streamer for a lot of people.

Mori is a talented person that does many things. Sings, produces, can manage her own career, self sufficient and self starter, likes to perform behind an animated character instead of using her real life self. This was a very logical pick when Hololive was casting her. The only thing they missed is that shes not really a weeb. Its like shes a normal person around a bunch of anime high energy children. Honestly i like her most but it gels with me, but i can see it not being a fit for most people that prefer the usual type of anime vtuber. From her collabs i see what the others are like.
