So if anyone was thinking about sending Gura birthday gifts to the Cover Corp address from like Amazon or something, might have some disappointment. Doesn't seem like Hololive is accepting any physical gifts for the EN talents, at least from what info I've received via emails and tweets on both @hololivetv and @hololive_en. It's not enough that it's the talent's birthday, they also need to have a specific gift announcement made for them to accept any physical gifts aside from letters and cards.

Last gift acceptance announcement on @hololivetv was this tweet:

So for whatever reason, Hololive isn't accepting gifts for their EN members at the moment aside from the letters and cards. Probably due to Covid-19 shipping restrictions and the only mailing address they have being the same address for JP.

If you were going to send Gura some HDMI splitters or something, send a handwritten letter instead and save the money for her merch. Maybe they'll open up gifts for her next year.

The logistics of sending packaged gifts to and from Japan are a nightmare, and I'm sure they pay a wicked premium in postage over there. The only alternative would be to have an third party set up a collection method then have them deliver the gifts to the girls' addresses. Not really an option when you're on contract. Cover and Hololive have certain expectations of their performers. Each of them have to report to management and establish their schedule. TTRPGs are a bit outside of the corporation's sphere and they may not be convinced that streaming a tabletop game will draw the same numbers and money as streaming a videogame.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I got the impression that Hunters were essentially squishy, normal(ish) humans in a world of scary monsters, who survive through wits & ingenuity and I'm not sure if Gura really picked up on that. I'm proud to say that I posted a letter to her today. I've been drafting it over and over again since the 18th. I had to reach out to her and tell her what she's done for me.
