I feel like the vast majority of people only want to talk to me because they're concerned about my mental health and ironically enough that just makes me more menhera
I knew a guy in high school that eventually just outright told me he only hung out with me because he heard something in psychology class about people needing human interaction to stay sane and I was basically his charity case.
I try to trust people these days and that they sincerely care, but things like that definitely leave a mark on you and make it hard to really care when someone DMs you once every six months just to ask if you're doing alright or offer a compliment that feels like it was sent more out of obligation than anything else.

It's probably because your design isn't inspiring and they are maybe not as close to you as you think. Artists draw what inspires them. Yeah they don't just draw the same person over and over, but it only takes a few different arts before it doesn't feel stake to draw their favorite again. So if you're not in the top 5 designs they like you probably won't get anything even if they are your friend.

That wasn’t me responding, but to me, his passion is the one thing that appeals to me the most. He has unwavering passion that comes through in his voice whenever he talks about things like how he believes in human potential, about yu gi oh, about digimon, toku, about LIFTAN etc!
