I think anyone applying for the company at this point is probably delusional unless their plan is to get their name out before going indie. The total audience of the company is probably less than 300 people and the other main benefit of being corpo, that being management, is clearly completely fucked.

It seems terrible but in all honesty the talents will probably keep streaming even if it goes down. The company has a track record of letting them keep their models, my main question is whether they signed fresh contracts around the 1 year anniversary. Sadly too few understand this. It's hilariously sad that Pippa (and Tenma) understand this but most don't. I'd say a lot of Kawaii's girls do too but Tsunderia talent still treat it like a hobby. This includes Lisa as well, who wants it to be a job but treats it like a hobby.

I don't think the audience being first has to be true 100%, sometimes you can drag the audience into a new direction. The audience doesn't always know what they actually want, Coco demonstrated this quite well. Plus, there is enough overlap and people with diverse interests that they can go between very different styles of vtubing fine.

But it is a job and should be treated like one.

His biggest issue seems to be not understanding the industry/culture well enough and trying to force things a certain way.
I agree, Pippa is the primary reason for PC being successful and Muumi being a good manager is a huge part of that. But Muumi was an extremely early hire, so Fishman understood he couldn't handle certain things early enough and found someone who could, and eventually got it through his thick, slimy skull to let the company grow organically instead of trying to force it a certain way. So you can't knock him too hard, most small corpos wouldn't have done either of those things. Most small corpos are PPP.

Well, it is a Japanese company. It's easy to forget because he was intelligent enough to not try to join the JP market and went straight for the EN market while it was young. I only became a fan originally of Hanababy and Orla then moved on to Lisa and Ami so I wanted Tsunderia to do as well as it could and the talents to flourish. If I had known this piece of history I may not have applied at all though to be fair. The whole unprofessionalism left a bad taste in my mouth so I can only imagine what it must be like behind the scenes.

Yeah, I don't believe that one anymore. The fact that "he's kind" was quite literally the only good word anybody has ever put in for PPP whatsoever speaks volumes; it's what you say about somebody when you can't think of anything genuinely positive to say about them, but can't bring yourself to admit that they're just kind of shit. If he were actually kind then he would've thrown in the towel and let somebody else take over as soon as it became clear he wasn't cut out for the job, clinging to his CEO position for all this time despite his overwhelming incompetence at every possible level has done nothing but harm the talents, the staff, the company itself and even the fanbase. The guy took on responsibilities, was either incapable or outright unwilling to fulfil them, hurt the people who he was supposed to take care of and support through those responsibilities, and then did it over and over again for two fucking years.
He needs to either fuck off and let somebody who gives even the slightest smidgeon of a shit take over, or just finally end it all so that the remaining talents can move on to better things without a deadweight boss dragging them down. This is beyond ridiculous now.

Starting to feel like not getting that job was the best thing and feeling pretty bad for Myst and Rei. I can imagine seeing as nothing changed on the outside there must have been very little change internally, assumedly due to his lack of ability as CEO.
