So the possibilities are:
Mori doesn't take control like a DM should.
Kiara talks a little too much and over the 3 newer players causing them to not have much say in the story.
Someone in the group shows little to no interest in TT and is a drag on the whole group with the classic "Huh, what's happening?" at everything.
It's a light and fun happy time, some talking a little more, others talking a little less.
With all the bullshit with the Uno collab, I assume Kiara is gonna chill like she has been for the last two group collabs so the second one is improbable. Who do you think will step up as 'party leader' and help make things move along with Mori?

/u/ schitzos please stop. Any time she's talking about flirting it's in character. Any time Kiara is 'jealous' of Mori giving her the cold shoulder in favor of another member, it's in character. The only moment where Kiara could possibly have been talking from her actual feelings was the friendship bracelet thing during Ryza and that's because:
1. Kiara is emotional.
2. She just moved back from Japan and was depressed she had to move back.
3. She hadn't acclimated and gotten together with her old friends in Australia yet.
4. She was under general stress from the move because moving is hard when you're doing it across town, let alone to a different country.
5. Mori was busy with her birthday stuff (i.e. a new EP, input on bodypillow shit, etc) so she didn't have a lot of spare time to talk.
Now that she's settled back home, she has been a lot more upbeat. It helps that the reaper is not as busy as she used to be and they can talk as friends privately, it helps that she's rebuilding her actual friends circle at home, and as they say, time helps heal all wounds in regards to having to leave Japan.

The collab would be a shitshow and you know as well as I do Artemis would be rearing their ugly head every slowmode cooldown to try and draw attention. The collab would've just been a gateway for the likes of zenetreya, nyanners, froot, and vei to stomp all over and contaminate hololive with their grimy slimy ways. Don't pretend like it would have been anything different.

I'm not scared of Kiara suddenly changing from a single collab and after watching the 4 vshojo on Digikomi, they know how to tone it down when appropriate, which in all honesty was kinda silly to believe they didn't. Am I asking for constant collabs? No, but one here and there isn't gonna 'radicalize' Kiara's character (or the actual Kiara) so I don't see the issue. This "Kiara in pain" is also a driving force of TakaMori's popularity.

Shippers love to look for the tiniest hints of affection and write entire fan-fics from that. Which is why they usually latch onto insane pairings and defend them with their life.
Mori not openly endorsing the relationship but still liking Kiara is exactly what they want - they don't get that kind of scavenger hunt in the other corporate sanctioned ships (NoeFlare and ShishiLamy) since there both are into it.

There is so much variety in TakaMori art. Affectionate Mori, cold Mori, both of them fighting each other.
With the most of the other relationships, corporate sanctioned or naturally grown, you get almost only wholesome art.
Which while cute doesn't create such a dedicated fanbase as TakaMori does.
Even right after debut they were handled as a top yuri ship over far more established pairings.

Annoying as it is for many they struck gold with the dynamic in TakaMori.

Mori has known Kiara for over a year now. Met her in person. Even to dinner with her. Went on a trip just the two of them. Done tons of collabs. And it STILL takes her 30-60 minutes to open up and start talking freely.

What’s really weird is compare to how she sounded when she called into Ina’s birthday. I think Mori is very very conscious of providing a good product when she streams. It’s just the way she is. I don’t think it will change though enough reps may help somewhat.

Not really. Discord was a patreon benefit and patreon doesn't exists anymore while the other stuff is free and public. The discord was open at least up to the termination of the account.

Funny thing is, I think it's gonna be pretty straightforward and kinda murderhobo because without having a good grasp on the rules or ttrpg's in general, people tend to brute force their way through things. I'm a bit worried that it's not gimmicky enough to play with. A straightforward character is a good start for a newbie (and Kiara basically is one, especially in this system), but it also has less potential to be kino. Good roleplaying, a helping hand from the others/the GM, or evolution over the story can help it, but as a standalone I'm not seeing that one moment that makes the character worth it.
On the positive side, it will carry battle encounters by itself if the others don't goof around too much, which will help them progress the story and reach a satisfying conclusion.

Of all the characters Kiara's is the one who has the strongest hook as to why she needs a party.
Although her character backstory is the most fleshed out. The others could get good reasons as well when they expand on their characters.

Let's be real, her oversharing and emotional side are what draw in a lot of people to begin with. When going for a sampler of the EN girls, Kiara just felt like a more whole and real person than her genmates, with Mori right behind (on her solo streams at least). While it's unfortunate what it leads to, I think without that draw, if she just stayed 'in character' and didn't talk about her personal life much, I wouldn't have started really following her.

I think I talked about it at some point here, but I know it's bad for me to enjoy it but I can't help but FEEL when she starts talking in the supa's or members and uses us as psychologists. I'm glad she's reaching out to friends and I think she was at a real low when she moved back to Australia which is why Nov-now, she's been doing that often. It feels like her reliance has slowed a little though, which is good.
