My first favorite retired/quit, and try as I might, I'm not deeply in love with her new content. I am very happy that she is much happier, and I like most of her music. She also isn't a vtuber anymore (kind of, sort of, not in most ways).
After she went silent, I forgot about vtubers for a year, maybe more, maybe less.

At some point I was in the /jp/ catalog looking for the gravure thread, and was reminded of vtubers. By then, it was well into the era of streaming vtubers, instead of skit or compilation vtubers. It was around the time of Hololive sankisei getting 3D models. I eventually found I liked Kiryu Coco the most, mostly for her zatsudan streams (imo ARK is mostly an excuse to zatsu in between a fairly boring game).
I did follow her back to her past life. I enjoy Kson and the growing circle of friends she has made.

hololive could handle coco graduation, and while rushia was less eventful, i think it created a very clear boundary between the gold/silver age of hololive and now: terminal decline
i dont watch chuubas nearly as much anymore, the energy is not quite there anymore imo
(altho neurosama was quite entertaining for the couple weeks before her ban, gave me the same kind of fascination as when i first found chuubas with rushia)

- Only 9 streams in the last month so not really. 9 streams the month before that and a respectable 22 the month before that.
- I respect her, but no, she's no longer my oshi.
- As I said above, only 9 streams in the past month so it's clear she's the one who abandoning the viewers. I watch a stream of hers here or there, but overall I don't try to catch every stream anymore.
- I had originally replaced her with Ina, but Ina decided she needed 5 months of vacation time this year, so she clearly doesn't value her base. I've kind of replaced both of them with several indies. Kind of sucks though to be honest because they were entertaining enough to do it on their own, but it takes a handful of indies to keep me just as entertained as they did on their own.
