Usually I don't block channels, but I do click on "not interested" each time I get a recommendation for a homo or a clip related to it. Since it isn't a one and done deal I think it might have more effect on the algo since you will technically feed it more information in case you get more of the same recommendations.

Use Smarttube on a Firestick, I never see ads and Google can’t track me since I keep my history turned off. It also skips intros and ad reads on channels that do that shit.
