og, i just did the economy section for the most part. I really don't think we need to detail it that much considering that our economy is just nuts, logs and food right now. We probably don't really understand the value of products in general, and with this in mind, just doing a list doesn't seem that wise to me. After all, despite how much deadbeats value teak, we likely have no idea why at all. I wrote about how foreigners are helping us change but i really didn't see a point in specifying right now since its hard to say if it is that major or just a notable minor thing. I am doing Diplomacy next, and also not doing anything complex since really, we need to do an in depth analysis of our tribes and their relations if we want it complex.

Like with all things in worldbuilding, it only needs to be as detailed as you want/need it to be. I guess you should decide what are your primary industries (I think you mentioned handicraft?), and maybe also the form of your government. Is it a democracy, a monarchy? A big thing is the balance of power between the government, and private powers, like citizens, guilds, companies.

We are ruled by the honorable Abe that has lots of advisors from different fields and once he passes away a new Abe would be chosen from the people based on a decision from these advisors, like divination for example. The Abe is absolute but we would not want to restrict people too much so they can flourish, but he would interfere when a guild or company does things that are harmful to people or the land.

I think how the advisors are chosen differs for each, but each holy site would have one for example! So the holy site of Mio would divine the advisor. the holy site of Koyori would hold a test to choose the advisor. the holy site to Pochi would choose one based on an art contest. The holy site of Botan would choose one by mock warfare and so on. Then there would be one advisor for education, one for agriculture, one for trade, one for foreign affairs. I think?

In terms of hydrology faggotry, something you'd expect is for most bodies of water to lead to the sea eventually, and it would be unusual to have river bifurcate besides for deltas. Picrel is just to illustrate what I mean, all the lakes would probably have a river that goes to sea, and the big river that goes Eastward wouldn't bifurcate towards the lake, but might open up in a delta once it's close to the coast.
Also, the South Lake has an interesting shape, does it mean something?

Oh yeah, it is ugly! I just wanted to show what I mean. Cunt's attempts (and yours) look a lot nicer.
Okay, so the thing with lakes is that the reason they're full of freshwater is that they have water constantly flowing through them. So there's always at least a river that flows in, and at least one that flows out (you can look at the Great Lakes or Lake Baikal for examples of that).
If you don't have water flowing out of the lake (or at least not a lot), that means the water that flows in leave by evaporating, which concentrates the salt in the lake. So you end up with a lake that is salty. The Black Sea is an example of that. And that's fine and cool, just something you should be aware of, since it wouldn't be a source of fresh water.
Also, yes, misleadingly, rock sugar is actually just refined from plants, it's not actually mined.
