it was actually because people kept spamming mikoboat in ylyl threads on /wsg/ in 2020 (part of the holy trinity with one piece shitpost and epic gandolf remix). Eventually after a couple months of it, i looked into where it came from.
due to misunderstanding Kizuna Ai posting on /v/ years prior, i actually thought Vtubers were literally AI, was shocked to see miko saying nigger, matsuri's bandaid story, and coco twerking in her 3d debut

Actually I was introduced to Hololive through Haato. It was a Dark Souls stream from forever ago and I’ve been a viewer ever since. Before that I was into Kizuna Ai. The funny migo clips came later.
