However he could have done worse, people were scared at the spectre of him super-censoring his talents hard including Pippa but he wound up not really doing that in the end etc, he does know how to give and take a bit and isn't completely-oblivious to Pippa's successes being a stronger counter than any fucking shitters whispering in his ear that she's fundamentally wrong and destined to fail etc.

Instead time has proven only more and more as she's snowballed more and more that Pippa only fails upward, literally shit that should have sunk her somehow did not, and she's the only legit small corpo rival to at least NijiEN tier in existence. Which is fucking amazing considering Anycolor is a billion-dollar company with fucking hundreds of talents and probably a dozen+ times more staff than Phase and tons of investor capital etc. All that fucking effort from them and some smelly rabbit who crawled out of the asshole of the internet is outdoing like half their talents. Now, imagine how good Pippa could be doing if Phase actually embraced her and promoted the shit out of her. If Phase could have multiple consistent 4views they literally would be pacing NijiEN essentially. HoloEN no, that's another order of magnitude off, but they could give NijiEN a serious run for the money.

Interestingly idol corp is also perhaps set to heavily compete with NijiEN but I think because their ENs are brand new and also promoted to all hell and back through ads, I dunno if they'll actually maintain that momentum. The really-promising aspect of Phase is it's experiencing real growth despite some of their talents being a year+ out, they're not just the shiny new toy like Idol is.
