Hi /vt/, are you cool with feedback? I like the idea of anonymous feedback so viewers can feel guilt free telling me honest truth.

I was super gunning for partner earlier this year because I felt like I was lagging behind but I burned myself out pretty bad. Now I just want to vibe and hang but it feels like my viewership is dropping again.

something i notice about a lot of the successful chuubas i watch is that they're able to fit in a lot of discussion that's unrelated to the game in the middle of gameplay
doom eternal is not only a fast shooter but it also requires a ton of focus on resource management. you could probably still talk a bunch during gameplay there but it's significantly harder compared to other games you could stream
really, you'd want to shove some of the thanksgiving and food talk from your intro zatsudan into the middle of your gameplay if possible. especially the food talk, asking chat stuff like what they ate or how their day went is a pretty easy way of creating an engaging back and forth between you and the audience. sometimes you won't get any responses from chat, kongou had some pretty good advice for how to smooth over that but i can't remember it at the moment
you discussed stream length towards the beginning, twitch really lends itself better to longer length streams so try doing those when you feel you can
the loading screen and backgrounds are honestly really strong and lend themselves to a very distinct identity, the most egregious thing about the stream was that you basically go grunts-only mode during any combat gameplay.

I'm no streamer or professional viewer but I think that getting chat involved hinges on creating discussion that makes them want to get involved. for example in monster hunter streams you have a couple of people talking about their memories of the game and then the discussion courses organically about tangents and stuff. you have to spark a conversation that isn't one sided, and it doesn't have to be related to the game itself, just things that would want to make viewers talk. I think moriko does it well, her chat is very active and there's a lot of conversation going on so you might wanna steal some ideas from her
you want to start the conversation and let viewers continue it but fan the flames every once in a while
