I don't assume the worst in people. I figure it was an honest mistake on someone's part and everyone was a bit flustered and anxious, so fish got cut off there and it was a really unfortunate coincidence. I have very very little exposure to nijisanji though, so don't take my word on any rrats.

Roa and Meiro had similar dialects. Meiro says that Roa bullied her for it and tried to force her to change her speaking style. Meiro then says she wants to graduate like 3 times before backing out at the last minute. The third time Niji didn't let her back out and went ahead with the graduation. Niji never found any evidence of the bullying or any contact between the two at alll.

Meiro graduated and Roa got bullied by fans into a infinite hiatus that she still hasn't came back from. Sorry if I got anything wrong, I'm not an expert on the subject.

Meiro sounded completely different in her debut from how she sounded in her interview, blatantly ripping off Roa's dialect. Roa politely asked her to use a different gimmick, because Roa's accent was because of her character lore. Meiro refused to talk to Roa unless they talked alone, while Roa wanted to talk with management around.

Meiro threatened to graduate, went dark on Roa without responding, then finally got graduated after her 3rd threat and went on to trash Roa and make parodies of her as her new vtuber personality. Keep in mind Meiro was known to be a manipulate menhera before she joined nijisanji.
