Yes! Live2D models can be purchased off nizima.com (Live2D's official marketplace) or booth.pm (general Japanese indie artist website). Be sure to check compatibility with your facial tracking software!

The general rule of thumb is Twitch if your content is primarily based on livestreaming and YouTube if your content is primarily pre-recorded and edited.

>Do you think there's an audience for X, Y, Z content?
First, ask yourself if you would watch a streamer of your skill and experience. Second, do a check on social media and look to see if other streamers are already creating similar content. Don't limit yourself to vtubers, include traditional real life streamers to scope out a potential audience.

No new lessons, but confirmed an existing one: when you start a stream, always look at the stream to see if there are any problems.
Last week, I forgot to turn on the virtual camera in Animaze. As a result, the stream showed a black screen instead of my model. Thankfully, I immediately caught that problem because I looked at the stream right at the beginning.

Are you sure it's not just a matter of the drive and the port actually working correctly but the drive just has no detectable OS on it?

I would try booting a livecd to see whether the drive is detectable through that. If it is, then the drive is fine and you should be able to (as a catch-all solution) install Windows over it.

Well /asp/, I’m finally ready. After a few test streams, designing a character, creating an animated PNG, creating overlays, testing mic settings, setting up scenes in OBS and adding mods to the game I’m finally ready. Going to grab a bite after work and stream properly for a few hours. I’m nervous, but thankfully no one will be watching

I'm still going strong after my first stream back in July, not exactly inclining but I'm learning more after every stream and I have a couple of ideas that I'm looking forward to try out in the future

This is laptop is what I’ve daily-driven for years up until yesterday, which means if it’s not no operating system on it, then there’s a lot of files that I’d risk losing if I just straight-up reinstall a copy of windows after formatting. I’ll have to buy at least an enclosure because I lost my old one and, worst case scenario, another SSD.

The problem is that I'm limited in terms of what days I can stream on because I still live with my family. If I want to stream during evenings, I'm limited to Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I guess I could stream during day hours when I'm alone, but I figure that's going to decrease the visibility of my streams even further, especially since I'm in Europe.
Well, barely anyone comes to my streams anyway, so I guess I have nothing to lose.

Anybody else feel that their face tracking is pretty inconsistent on a day to day basis? It feels like some days it tracks mouth movements really well, some days the mouth just wants to be really slow and mostly closed. I'm using an iPhone in vtuber studio, and while it does work much better generally than what I was using before it just seems much more inconsistent. It almost feels like I need to adjust and tune all the inputs and settings in vtuber every time I stream for it to work well each time

Animaze seems to be consistent in how it acts, generally speaking. It just seems to "forget" the calibration every single I close it, forcing me to recalibrate every single time I start it again. No, it doesn't feel "off", it feels like it flat out goes back to default, which doesn't fit at all.
Besides that, I swear sometimes my model gets a weird facial expression from time to time. I don't know if the problem is in me using a VRoid model, Animaze's face tracking, my glasses, or the angle between my camera and my head.
But generally, it's acceptable.
