I guess you're right, but I needed an initial reason for Ayame to try it out and realise she loves having sex, I didn't want to say "she started inviting guys over and became a slut just because". Maybe some more in-depth reasoning and a slower build up to her circumstances would have helped.

Yeah, I'm starting to see that. As I said before, she WAS going to play a larger role in the other versions of the story and only ended up being a little useless because of the direction the fic went. That's not really an excuse, though, I probably should have given the onion drama some more attention.

I'm the guy who wrote Say, Can You See? I been trying to figure out how to write that story without it going full polshit but I've been finding it almost impossible to do so, so I decided to try and make another potential series that is more character driven, and maybe more dark but also relatable. This is a sort of "treading the water" short story, trying to figure out the atmosphere and whatnot.

I will probably go ahead and do the sequel to Say, Can You See, but I think I accept at this point that it'll be a niche story and not everyone's cup of tea, and that's fine, but I personally liked the story alot, so if I can do it for anyone, I'd do it for me and the few who can look past the bullshit.

I liked it as it was being released, found the ending 'arc' rather unsatisfying since it didn't really explore the Tokyo characters enough while setting the potential sequel somewhere else entirely.

I like it, it makes me want to read whatever comes next. One remark is that the text switches between being a slog to get through (not in a bad sense) and something more rythmic, almost like poetry. That lead to my reading speed switching constantly, which was a bit disorienting. Also it reminded me of Come Up and Get Me for some reason.

Saving is the easy part, having everything readable on all my devices with correct formating and not everything disappearing when a HDD decides that its life is over is a bit harder. Ensuring that you can actually find what you look for is sometimes not trivial too. Things would be easier with plain text

It's difficult to say what makes a great writer - too many variables in usage of expression, styles of prose, adherence to rules of language and the coherent conveyance of unique ideas. I don't know whether or not your stories are well-written, but I do know one thing; be it morbid or repulsive, your stories are at least consistently interesting to read.

It's a great brat taming fic, and I like how there's a genuine connection between the characters. The way they know when to respect each other's limit and when to go overboard is very very nice too. It's like, if you always know everything that's going to happen, it's boring. Not knowing exaxtly if the person that's choking you is really going to stop adds a lot, especially if you can't physically defend yourself. It's not exactly healthy but when you're into getting hit and choked and raped you're usually way past that

There's a smut scene at the end but it's more about emotional catharsis than pure smut. Closest equivalent of the smut scene in chapter 6 is the smut in "I Thought You Wanted To Dance" where it's something that pulls double duty.
At least give it a chance but don't go in entirely for that smut scene.

You're a SWAT officer task with breaching and clearing a decrepit compound hosting a potentially armed and dangerous cult. In a nighttime raid you and your team breach and clear as normal. The reports were right, these cultists are armed and deranged- almost all of them are wiped out in the confontration, all except this one girl who definitely does not belong here; is she perhaps an unknown hostage? And she is also holding a particular book that sometimes makes your head hurt when you give it glances but you pay no mind.

The kicker? This was supposed to something normal, you go in and breach, clear, save the hostage, and be the hero etc etc... but when you get out of the room with the girl in tow, you're in a different part of the compound entirely. The walls are shifting, you can hear faint noises, sounds of skittering, sounds of footfalls and hushed whispers... and there are noises that are definitely not made by a human, you will spend hours fighting tooth and nail for your life against horrors you cannot comprehend, and whatever is left of those crazy cultists, all the while caring for this seemingly normal hostage.

I'm gonna be honest when I want to look at old prompts I pick out an old thread and read from there rather than picking up from the prompt archive.
I'm sure the only time the prompt archive finds success and gets an old prompt written is when a tourist writer comes around and picks one up like that one vesper fic.

I'm sure it would be a fun twist ending to build up to but if you're a groundhog day loop you kind of want to do that narrative arc of asshole slowly learns to gain humanity and respect despite living in an unchanging loop/ arc about trying to get all the information and actions need to get that perfect loop of the day.

That's what you would think, but in the end both are about accepting reality as it is and trying to do your best in it, trying to go forward, regardless of the rest. If the loop breaks at one point where you do questionable things, you're going to "relive" this day mentally until you find a way to heal/go past that. The loop itself doesn't really matter
