Sure despite all her many, many problems there is a reason she is #2 for a good reason. She is able to put out solid work and material. She isn’t amazing but by no means bad and certainly possesses the capacity for great things. However when compared outside her coworkers much of that success was the “hololive buff”. She never had much success before she was given this opportunity and success afterward that isn’t directly related to Calliope is still going to be tainted in a way. If she released the same songs without ever being in hololive, I very much doubt they would be met with the same fanfare even if it were from a label. It is like a “professional wrestler” being tired of the act, the character and fixed matches because they want to be a real MMA fighter.
I do think Calliope has come to terms a bit with that aspect of her life, especially as she has apparently recognized her alcoholism and started recovering a bit from that. However, she still hates her job and wants to change it to something that makes her less miserable which doesn’t sound so bad until you remember that makes things worse for her coworkers and means she does a much worse job at the job she is still supposed to be doing to her customer’s ire. And that still leads to stress. Nothing good would come from this and while I don’t think it is sensible to fire her, I do wish she would quit.
