It keeps throwing stuff at her because she's running all over the place without pause. The game has a lot of setpieces designed to just look around a bit. i agree with you, its not aged amazingly. its pretty basic fps with some magic elements, but its more immersion first still with its setpieces, and the hacking is available literally everywhere theres a machine, its not required most of the time unless its like a door you have to hack.
