I recently got to thinking that Okayu seems to have so many natural talents, she would be unstoppable if she really applied herself. But I ultimately came to the conclusion that an Okayu who put her full effort into everything wouldn't be Okayu anymore. She's almost like if Garfield was a cute anime girl.

Things come together. One of her main boons is probably her indifference and calmness. Loosing a game? Absolutely no problem (somebody in the comment section had a great Japanese word for it).
If you compare it with other streams where people just wait for stupid things to happen and the streamer to explode, Okayu is the complete opposite and people don't mind and just enjoy the relaxed vibe.

okayu still has lots of energy in her voice when she sings with her natural low voice. what i dont like about the idol singing is that it emphasizes singing higher to sound “cuter,” and it would make okayu stray away from her real singing voice which a huge part of what makes her special. Okayu used to not like her voice and thought no one else would like it either. And when she joined hololive she thought her singing wouldnt be liked because it doesnt sound idol-ish.
But she put her real self out there and everyone right away fell in love with her and her singing. It sucks when she tries to sing in the high voice to sound cuter because it disregards the acceptance of her real self which made her happy, and it sure as hell doesnt sound better than her real voice.

Okayu DQ IV stuff 1/2

Okayu, after one of her usual BGM singing sessions, asks chat if they've noticed something different about her timing today. Actually, she's changed the settings of her stream to be closer to those of when she does her utawaku. Normally she sounds about a second behind the game's BGM, but now they should be simultaneous. Chat asks her to sing again, and she's completely right. She thinks the onigiryaa reacting in surprise in chat are really cute, like excited kids.

The name of a simlar enemy makes Okayu think of her old favorite comedy duo "Kamaitachi". Though her favorite group is now Jungle Pocket, Kamaitachi used to be her favorite. She doesn't listen to radio as much anymore, but she used to listen to their "Hey, taxi!" bit daily. Of course, she can still listen to their stuff on Youtube now.

Okayu's not sure if it's been announced yet, but she'll be the fourth member in Shion's Mario Party collab, alongside Subaru and Aqua.
Shion invited her, and she's really looing forward to it due to her love of Mario Party; she's smiling to herself even now in anticipation. No break on Wednesday? Will Golden Kamuy be okay? She'll probably still have time to catch it after the collab, don't worry.

Besides soup curry, Okayu's been eating almost nothing but this lately: Nukazuke! She likes nibbling on it whenever she has some time. She thinks it might be fun to pickle some of her own sometime.

Okayu's been taking her time with DQ, and just enjoying herself in 3 hour periods, but she always feels a little surprise when time is up. Though she normally feels like 3 hours is on the shorter side, she thinks that might just be because the girls in hololive tend to stream on the longer side. She's really enjoying the game and its story, but she's not sure exactly what day the next stream will be. Tonight is the Mario Party collab, she'll take a day off on either Thursday or Friday, and she also wants to clear the postgame content in Shiren, most likely on Saturday. She's pretty sure Shiren will be another long stream like last time too, so be ready.

Okayu's said it before, but she's probably not going to stream the game at all. She loves the series so much that it generally ends up becoming part of her life. Wake up and Rune Factory, Eat and Rune Factory, Bathe and Rune Factory. She feels like it would be 15 hour minimum for the streams. Then again, Shiren and SaGa are kind of the same for her. She'll make sure to talk about it from time to time at least.

Okayu debates on whether or not to read the superchat from the Shiren stream. She feels like it might be better to read them on the next Shiren stream, but that might be another 9 hour ordeal, so she decides to do it now. Reading them back-to-back, and seeing so many of the same names pop up really drives it home to her how many people donate every stream. She thinks that's amazing.

Okayu's been thinking lately about how amazing it is that people are willing to by her goods so many months before they'll actually ship out, not being worried about being tired of her by then. The reason she thought about this, by the way, is because an acryllic stand for Usami was announced recently! She never thought it was going to happen, but she finally got her chance, and bought 2 of them. She also talked to the person in charge of shipping her goods recently; she sold a ton of sets, but even more of the small plushies were purchased too. A lot of chat says they bought 2 of them, and she's amazed at one fan who bought 30, saying that's enough for an Okayu army.

Chat tells Okau that Hitoshi Ariga just posted fanart of Okayu, and she excitedly goes to check it. She thinks it's super cute and is incredibly happy. She briefly talks again about how she's a big fan of his manga, and how he got into contact with her after she talked to Subaru about who he was. She says she'll retweet it later since it's so late right now, but she's so happy she doesn't know what to do with herself.

Okayu feels like there's been almost nothing but good things since she started streaming. Things like Ariga drawing her, or Kamichi drawing her(Okayu's been a big fan since she played Medabot 9). She wondered in the beginning if she would be suited towards this type of work, because everybody has different feelings when it comes to it. Okayu thinks, for instance, that she's the type of person who doesn't generally let thinks she dislikes bother her. Even when playing Dragon Quest, backseating comments don't get in the way of her enjoying the game. She knows some people get bothered by them, but she doesn't usually think the comments are coming from a bad place either. That's why she feels like streaming is nothing if not fun for her.

Okayu really wants to play Shiren again, just by reading the superchats from the stream. She's continuing it on stream later, but she almost wants to delete her data so she can beat the game again before then. Chat says she can just use a new file, and she calls them a genius. She knows she could just challenge the tower again, but she really likes starting from zero when climbing.
