basically, the first video of a new series will initially have the most views due to curiosity, hype and novelty. it's possible that subsequent videos may garner more views due to their content, but not enough time has elapsed for the viewcounts to reflect this. plus it may not happen since the video titles would give people the impression that this is a serial with continuity. so either people drop off after the first ep, or they get linked to another ep and drop off because they think they need to start from the beginning.
