Aside from having good singing and gaming skills, you got to be real good in engaging and communicating with your chat especially as a male streamer. Even more harder for a holostar with set limitation. So, what can you do other than trying to pick up tricks from Western streams and apply them them to you streams, test out reactions on what attracts people and what doesn't. I see a lot of them are lacking in this department except for Aruran and Roberu. They're really testing things out themselves. Astel is a king at apex, but he needs to do more networking around people. Rikka is a musician type streamer, all I can ask from him is to pick a specific niche like 8bitdrummer did.

Being in the same company as Hololive is already a huge buff for them. It's only a matter of trying to attract more eyes to their streams now. Plus, they need updated designs.

I watched astel and roberu constantly. Some of the stars are really boring though. Some of them are really very one dimensional and i find it hard to sit through their long streams. it depends on what levels of numbers we are talking. The homos are in the level where they can't buy expensive food every sunday so bigger numbers for them would do great for their economic well being. Even though they are already doing way better than lots of indies, it still is not *very* well.
Think of it this way. If they have bigger numbers and they get good money, cover would be giving them the support they deserve by scheduling 3d streams, commissioning the remaining 3d, nicer merch it's all plastic so whatev... giving them more managers and what I think is the best of all, sponsors.

In summary, homos are at the stage where numers would give them better support from cover and more money to decide to work fully on this.
