People, in their hubris, forget that and believe that because something has not been proven to cause harm, that it cannot cause harm. I have a lot of respect for good people who participate in religions and try to provide help and guidance for the faithful in their communities, and a proportional amount of disdain and revulsion for people who climb the ranks of religious institutions in order to take advantage of people.
