I really liked racing games before but Ela's racing game streams made me pull the trigger and get a steering wheel, pedals and shifter and I've been really enjoying it so far

I mean technically they're not hired to be game streamers, they're hired to be CGDCT performers and entertainers, plus there are plenty of holos (idk about Kiara though) have literally never touched a serious video game before hololive, so it's pretty understandable. Reminds me of this vid:

Couple this with the pressure to both play and be entertaining it makes more sense to lean to the latter, which means game attention usually suffers. I mean at the end of the day, I was watching that Kiara stream too, and I was still entertained despite her failing at a game I actually quite like because I like her personality and the egregiousness of some of the failures was funny to me.

Hell you see this with Ela too, there have been many times where she struggles to finish something because she's trying to read chat, and where she's really focused on a game and goes all but completely silent.

I wouldn't rule out the male collabs though, I think the only reason why she hasn't done one yet is because she's too reserved to reach out for one on one, and she doesn't seem to like large groups so she's not in their group collabs. Especially since iirc most of Tempus love League, it's only a matter of time imo, so be prepared

I do think she'll distinctly fall in the Bae/JP camp though - she'll be really professional about it, she mentioned it as a possibility during debut, she doesn't GFE/parasocialbait her fans, and she won't do it just to stick it to le incel chuds like EN, so there's not really anything to be mad about

I won't watch them because I don't like mixed gender streams in general (I think both genders are much more entertaining and open when it's just single gender) but I won't be mad if she decides to do them
