I'm fairly sure they're going to collab eventually. There was a collab with vtuber artists that Ina had listed on her schedule like a month or two back that she apologized and later said that it was private. Ayamy, Nabi, Pochi, etc were all involved in that and I think the reason it wasn't streamed publicly was because Nabi hadn't debuted yet.

Ayamy's picking up steam anyway, and she's going to collab with Mel in a couple days so she'll probably walk away with even more EOPs from that

First gens were all pre-made designs to be applied for, so I imagine they don't have a particularly deep relationship with each other like later gens that had any say with their artists. The collab is on mother's day so I imagine that was the impetus for one of them to approach the other with the idea.
