Well, the reason why some of that still rubs people the wrong way is twofold:

1. The girl refers to herself as Zen, never does the guy
2. Perish believes the girl is full of shit the entire time and is just used to "prove Zen isn't a guy".

Perish's video is obnoxious in other ways, and there are a lot of reasons I don't buy his bullshit either. So, if you believe the couple theory then you're fine with both of them being there as a normal thing. If it is just Zen the female, then why was the guy on there at all? If it is the guy who is Zen, is the girl even involved at all?

The couple theory is interesting, and would explain quite a few things, but there's no real proof of it either. Yes, two people were present during the voice reveal, but is that legit or not? I don't know. The reason why I find the couple theory really interesting is in watching Zen on stream. There are times when Zen is really REALLY fucking girly, like, the gestures she makes which are done on impulse and reactions to something that happens, I just have a hard time believing those are faked so often and done without warning (so can't be planned). Then there are other times when Zen is really dead serious and never reacts to shit, or reacts in a different way to similar stimulus. It is really weird to watch if you're watching her all the time. It's not evidence of shit, but it just would make some sense if Zen is sometimes a girl and sometimes a guy, but there's no pattern I've been able to discern when who is who.

Technically non cable or satellite tv exist but it's limited to a small amount of local channels and news and stuff. Actual "good" tv programs require a subscription service and honestly people are more and more doing the math and realizing that an on demand streaming service or random online content is a much cheaper solution.
People used to paying monthly respond quite well to an optional $5 fee that directly helps the person who is entertaining you.

Nyanners first diablo stream was the first time that chat was completely unusable for me.
