She will probably finish it, as much as it pisses her off it's very much within her reach to do so and she's persistent.
As for shine count she won't go for nearly as many as Galaxy, it's clearly more of a chore than that game at this point. In the earlier streams she at least affirmed a few times that she still enjoyed the game but not so much as of late. She'll finish with 60-62 (depending on whether she does ep8 of the remaining worlds), +2 from her current blue coin count if she remembers to turn those in.
A bit of a shame, as part of the fun in Galaxy was how she challenged herself and looked for secrets and such, but she clearly enjoyed that game far more so I don't blame her.

Yeah, I really think FPS with a good story will be great for Ame. Platformers with a non-existent story to motivate you can be very frustrating to play.

Sunshine tried to do something unique by having each level represent a different story that takes place on the island. As such, to tell the complete story to the player, they have to play through every "episode" until the battle with Shadow Mario which leads to the optional epilogue after that's taken care of. It's kind of a cool idea, but it makes the game really linear and doesn't allow for any kind of freedom. There's a reason this wasn't done again in Galaxy.

Yeah, Ame is all about seeking that next adrenaline hit. After playing competitive multiplayer games for so long, your brain doesn't evaluate single player games the same way anymore.
If you don't get adrenaline hits every hour or so you just get bored easily. But I'm glad she's expanding her horizons instead of spamming shooters like Roboco and Aqua.
